The lights dimmed and two spotlights opened, tinged with blue. They walked separately, dressed in white, as melancholic music played. They moved softly as if they were two lonely people on an empty stage. Then the lights turned off and a playful tune played as a single yellow spotlight turned on with their movements reflected those of children having the time of their lives until once again the lights switched back and they were once again at different sides of the stage engulfed in the familiar melancholy.
Every now and then the lights will switch and they would dance to the warm memory of 'their yesterdays' until the two cool colored spotlights finally guided them to each other's paths. The sad tune started to transform louder and faster. As they look up and see one another, the loneliness in the music has been washed away by the feelings of hope that seems to radiate from their eyes.
He walked towards her, slowly, relief and happiness seem to make his footsteps faster.
Her eyes looks like it was brimming with tears as her shoulders seem to let go of the invisible burden on them. Her feet started lifting off from the ground until she was running towards him.
His arms welcomed her as she leaped towards them and was engulfed by their warmth. Her flowing white dress billowed as they turned, his arms holding onto her waist protectively.
He put her down, their gazes locked on each other and they danced their memories of yesterdays to their hearts content. But it no longer has the innocence of the past but the joyful yet peaceful victory over the years of pain. They danced while their eyes never once let go of each other until the music faded and their movements slowed, the lights started to dim while they remained there, looking at one another, their hands slowly reaching for the other's.
Then the darkness came, and so did the applause as the platform went down. Their breathing was heavy and they were still looking at each other. Lisa smiled at him.
"That was amazing!"
This made Bambam blink. He smile and gave a nod. "Yeah it was."
"Let's go? We need to sit back there." She nodded to the stairs that led them back to the set.
"Ah...yeah okay." His smile turned thin until he took a deep breath and smiled wider then headed for the stairs. Lisa followed.
"Congrats!" The girls cheered and hugged her. They came to the set as everyone was starting to clean up. She also saw Got7 approaching Bambam and cheering him loudly.
"Congratulations Bambam and Lisa!" Heechul announced, ensuing the shouts and cheers of the audience that agreed with the results.
"Your stage was beautiful and heartwarming. Everything felt so real. You guys weren't playing a character in a story, you were there, experiencing all that sadness and happiness. Your movements were raw and so were your facial expressions. I love it!" Hoya, the episode's guest judge, said.
"Hey guys! We're going to eat out. Are you guys coming with?" Jackson called out to them. Lisa looked towards Bambam, he was smiling at her and nodded.
She looked at the girls and saw Rosé looking a little shy but was smiling back at her. Jennie look at one of the boys and just shrugged and gave a small smile. Then she realized that Jisoo was no longer beside them and after looking around saw that she was already talking with Jinyoung. Lisa shook her head and smiled meaningfully. She caught Jisoo's eyes that just rolled at her after seeing Lisa's expression.
"Ah the managers," Jennie started to say but Jackson answered quickly.
"Jaebum hyung already asked both our managers."
"Oh...okay." Jennie looked towards Jaebum who was talking to the managers and nodded.
They headed out to a barbecue restaurant and started to talk more comfortably as they waited for their food. Jisoo and Jinyoung talked about Inkigayo, Doyoung, and a variety of things, sometimes commenting and jesting Bambam and Lisa on their performance. Yugyeom was praising them as well, giving comments, and would sometimes whisper something to Bambam, which would make the latter punch him in the shoulders while the former just laughs. Jackson and Mark asked Rosé some questions about Australia since they had a trainee from there as well. Rosé was shy at first, but talking about her homeland made her speak a lot more, especially since they were mostly speaking in English Jennie and Jaebum were the least talkative but they did join in with the conversation of the three every now and then.
Bambam and Lisa on the other hand, were by far the loudest. Along with denying every tease they received, they also competed for every praise they got from the table.
"If it weren't for me, you'd be lost!" Bambam would say.
"Yeah right! I'm pretty sure it was me that Hoya sunbaenim was praising." Lisa retorted back.
"This kid!"
"This pipsqueak!"
"You pig!"
"Pig?!"
"Yeah! Don't you know how heavy you are! I think I broke my back from carrying you!"
The table just laughed along with their never-ending quarrels. Some were even poring fuel into the fire, causing the two to fight even more.
"You guys are like an old couple." Yugyeom said. Lisa looked incredulously at him and Bambam just kicked him under the table which caused Yugyeom to shout, "ouch! Bam what the hell!"
Their early dinner continued to be filled with laughter and stories. Everyone was so much more comfortable with each other, even Jennie was talking and smiling with Jaebum at the end of the table. Then Bambam's phone rang. Lisa accidentally took a peek and saw who was calling.
"Baby? Why is she calling?" Bambam whispered to himself. "Wait a sec. I'm just gonna take this call." He said to the table.
"Who was that?" Yugyeom asked when he saw saw Bambam talking to someone on the phone.
Before Lisa could answer, Bambam got back to the table and said, "That was my sis. She said she's at the dorm so I'm just going to pick her up." He took his things but Lisa stopped him.
"Wait! I'm gonna come with! I haven't seen Baby in such a long time. I missed her so much!" Lisa stood up making everyone look at them. They were smiling meaningfully. "What?" she asked but Bambam answered.
"Eh I'll be bringing her here anyways." But Lisa was adamant so he just sighed and said, "fine."
"Say hi to your sister-in-law for me!" Jackson shouted towards Lisa and everyone joined in on teasing them.
The two tried to shut them down but to no avail so they just shook their heads and walked out of the restaurants quickly.
