They were just standing there for what felt like hours until. Awkward and tensed silence.
Then the door opened. "Hey, we're going to be filming you guys for an hour so if you guys can talk about what you plan on doing...please do. You have 5 minutes to prepare." Then the door closed again, leaving Lisa's mouth gaping ever so slightly.
She could feel his eyes boring into the back of her head. He cleared his throat and said, "I guess you have to talk with me now, huh?" There was no emotion to his voice which made Lisa's chest feel heavier.
When she turned towards him, he was no longer looking at her but at the wall opposite the mirror, so she couldn't see his expression. She didn't know what to say. And before she could think of a response, he spoke again.
"The theme-" he scoffed. "Let's just put on our smiles when the camera gets here..."
The theme was reunion.
"...be friends again for an hour." He finished on that note.
Lisa was shocked by what he said. Did he think that she was throwing away their friendship? She wanted to say 'No! That's not it' but was interrupted by the opening of the door once again.
The camera man rolled in and as she looked back at Bambam, he had a smile on his face. He rose his eyebrows as if saying, 'the show has begun'.
Lisa cleared her throat. "So have you got any ideas...?" she said, trying to hide the uncertainty from her voice.
"Reunion..." he drawled. "I guess it's fitting." He eyed her suggestively which made Lisa clench her fist. "Like how we had been a part of team in Thailand, and now we're here. Teaming up again." He smiled widely. She's not sure if it's genuine but she does have an inkling that it was directed at her discomfort.
She chuckled lightly. "Yeah...right." She was wondering if the camera could sense the tension in the atmosphere. But if it did, anyone who watches this would think twice if they were actually friends. Lisa smiled. "So are we going to tell our own story then?"
His smile turned sad for the slightest second that she wasn't sure if she saw it right. "I guess so."
They tried to talk about the feeling of the stage. What mood do they want to lean on and all that. Bambam hooked his phone to the speaker and they listened to some songs. They kept throwing in suggestions without arriving to any conclusion.
That went on for a while until the cameraman excused himself out. They went silent again.
They sat for a few minutes with no one talking. Bambam then sighed deeply and stood up and unhooked his phone.
"What are you doing?" Lisa said before she could stop herself.
He shrugged, not looking at her. "Going, I guess."
"W-why?" Lisa whispered but was loud enough for him to hear.
His eyebrows furrowed, confused. "Because...the shoot's done?"
Lisa clenched her fists that were hidden at her side. "We haven't done anything. We only have a week." She tried to reason out.
His face grew darker and then he scoffed with a sarcastic smile on his face. "Maybe if you try actually talking, we'll get somewhere."
"I have been talking."
"Really? Have you really? Cause all I heard was 'yeah' 'i guess' 'maybe'." He shook his head.
She looked down. He had a point. She told herself she was going to talk to him personally, but so far he has been doing all the talking. "I-okay..." she sighed.
