Seollal Holiday starts the next day and after a day of celebrating the short break they had with Jisoo's family, Lisa was able to spend the rest with hers. They decided to go to Korea instead so she can have a bit more rest as well as tour around the country that basically served as her second home.
The other members were also with their family-Jennie was with her mom while Rosé went to Australia since half a week before. Lisa was unpacking her things when she received a message. She glanced at the notifications that popped up and smiled. It was her mom.
Mom: Hi love.
We just landed.
Lisa: REALLY???
I'll come and pick you guys up!
Mom: No need, Love.
We'll just go to you so go rest.
You just got back as well, right?
Lisa: Ehhhhh no can do i'm on my way hehehe
See you!!! 💕💕💕
Mom: Well what can I do, then.
See you! Love you!
She immediately threw the remainder of her clothes in her closet, grabbed her huge hoodie, and rushed out to book a ride.
While in the car she remembered that their episode was broadcasted just an hour ago. She went on to her SNS and rolled her eyes, yet she could not refrain from keeping a proud smile from her face. Both hers and Bambam's names were on the trending page, Bambam just a spot ahead of hers, taking more than one, too.
Lisa: Hey pipsqueakkkk they loved your perf!!!!!
It's all over naver
You took 3 spots in the trending!

Bambam: I know lmao I just saw it
I mean what did you expect??? It's me we're talking about here
Lisa: Pfftttttt

Your partner saved your ass 😒
Bambam: YAH!! 👿👿
She was kidding, of course. He did wonderfully and it's true that he did deserve to win. No offense to the actual winner, but he hit differently. Not that I'm being biased or anything...
"Lalisa, my baby!" her mom opened her arms wide as she walked towards her in a quickening pace.
"Mommy! I missed you so much!" Lisa hugged her tightly when she heard a loud cough a few steps away from her.
"And what about me?" The tall man had two suitcases in hand, and brought a smile on her lips.
"Of course I missed you, too, daddy," she said as her mom let her go. She went towards her dad and hugged him just as tight as she did her mom.
"Okay, now stop before your dad starts tearing up," her mom said jokingly. "And go greet your auntie." She pointed towards the back where a lady was walking towards them. Lisa squinted her eyes to get a clearer vision of the newcomer.
"Auntie!"
"Oh Lisa!" They gave each other a quick hug. "Dear, look at you! New hair? Of course."
Lisa laughed. "Where are you staying, auntie?"
"The same hotel as your parents."
"Well, do you want to come with us, then? I'm booking a ride." She took out her phone and was about to open up her app.
"Oh no, dear. He's actually supposed to be here by now."
"Mom!" a guy called out, getting their attention. Speak of the devil.
"Bambam! Oh I missed you!" Bambam's mom fiercely hugged him to the point where he was squirming in discomfort.
"Ow...mom, I missed you, too. But can you let go? I already feel the bruises I'll get tomorrow," the boy whined.
"Well then what were all those workouts you've been bragging about for?" His mom let him go but not without giving a playful slap at where his biceps were supposed to be.
"Mom!" he whined, making the rest of them laugh.
"Okay then, why don't we all go to the hotel together and have lunch there," Lisa's mom suggested.
"Is it okay? Won't the paparazzi get ahold of them?" Her dad voiced out his concern, looking at both her and Bambam.
"Don't worry about it, uncle. I'll ask for a private room," Bambam said while booking a ride for them.
Lisa looked around and smiled to herself. Their families have always been close. Their childhood was spent with each other: camping trips, out-of-towns, and simply hanging out at each other's homes. It was too bad that Bambam's siblings couldn't come with. They did have their own lives so it was understandable. Although, they do visit every now and then, along with their other friends.
"I missed home," she said under her breath.
"You just went 2 months ago," Bambam whispered behind her ear, making her jump a feet above ground.
"Christ! Bam! Can you please not give me a heart attack?" she slapped his arm over and over again, their parents paying a blind eye from the mess that is their friendship.
"Hey hey!" he held her wrists with one hand and wrapped his other one around her head. "That hurt you brat!" She was struggling to break free but his grip was strong across her cheek and on her chin. It wasn't until she bit his hand that he was forced to let go.
"Now, now, children. Time to sit down," Bambam's mom said while shaking her head. Lisa passed her friend smugly who was throwing out censored curses to the wind. It was a good thing that they were already in the private dining room, away from the watchful eyes of the paparazzi. Their closeness would definitely have been an issue plastered on numerous articles if not. They ate their lunch merrily.
Bambam was still angrily looking at her. She bit her lip trying to contain her grin.
They separated afterwards so they can hang out with their respective families, as well as avoid any rumors from coming out. For the rest of the 4 days their families were in Korea, they ate dinner together. She tried not to cry when she said goodbye, which came easy with all the teasing she got from Bambam.
She was already resting in her room when her phone rang.
"Hey! You free tomorrow night?"
"Hm... I guess I will be after practice. Why?" she rolled around her bed, waiting for his response. Maybe she was trying to keep the slightly speeding beats in her chest at bay or distract herself from it.
"I want to celebrate my newfound fame," he laughed while Lisa rolled her eyes. It has been 4 days and the videos of his stage were still going around and being posted in articles that were anticipating his next stage.
"The hell?" she laughed. "Stop or you might not be able to go out of your room tomorrow."
Bambam paused, probably thinking about what she meant. "Why not?"
"Your head will be too big to get through the door."
She was waiting for his rebuttal but all she got was his laughter. "So?"
She sighed. "What's the plan?"
"That's a secret."
"Wh-" she tried to say but he hanged up. She stared at her phone and couldn't help but smile at that moment. Damn... why the hell did he have such an effect on me? That runt...
A/N: sorry it was a really late but only one more to go~~~
