I woke up sweating to Bucky trying to wake me up. When my eyes shot open, Bucky had a panicked look on his face. It took me a second to realize why... My entire room was engulfed in flames. What the hell happened? Before I could figure out what happened, Bucky picked me up bridal style and carried me out of the room into the living room,

He sat me down on the couch when the avengers ran in one by one.

"What the hell happened?" Tony came running in and straight to me,

"Fire..." I said while looking down at my hands...

Steve, Nat, and Clint ran in next asking the same question. Thor, Loki, Wanda, Vision, and Sam next.

I sprung from my seat and ran back towards my room.

"y/n!" Bucky said while trying to stop me

"What's she doing?" I heard while running away from the team.

I opened the door to my room, but before I could step inside, Bucky grabbed my arm and stopped me.

"Are you crazy?!"

I yanked my arm from him,

"If my powers were what started the fire, I can put it out. If they aren't the reason, then they cant. I need to try."

Before Bucky could say anything else, I walked into my room and closed the door to stop the flames from traveling.

My entire room was on fire. I closed my eyes and lifted my hands, I felt the flames rise and get stronger. I slammed my hands down like I was closing an invisible box. I felt the room go silent, the room cooled immediately. I opened my door and walked to the living room.

All eyes darted to me, I was covered in ash. I opened my mouth to say something, but everything went black.

I guess I didn't realize how much smoke I had inhaled, but I passed out.

When I woke up, I heard yelling. My eyes fluttered open. I was in a strange and bare room if you could even call it that. It was more like a glass cage. I got up from the cot I was laying on. And walked over to the glass, Nat made eye contact with me while the rest of the team had their backs to me.

"She's awake..." Nat said, her arms crossed

The team went silent and they all turned to face me. All of them had sad eyes when they looked at me.

"What's going on? Why am I in here?"

"You are in the holding cell we built for the Bruce..." Tony said, avoiding my gaze but coming closer to the glass.

"Why?"

"You caused the fire." Said Steve as he walked towards me."

"But I..."

"JARVIS, play the video."

My eyes went to the screen across the room, the team turned to watch as well.

There I was, asleep in my bed. I watched as my body began twitching, I started screaming. The room was then on fire. Then that's when Bucky came in, waking me up, and carrying me out. The video then fast forwards, the room was still on fire, but then I heard it, my conversation with Bucky in the hallway. Then me putting the fire out.

I was horrified.

"You were having a nightmare..." Bucky said, arms crossed.

"She didn't do it on purpose! Let her out of that cage this instant!" Loki finally spoke up, rage in his eyes.

"We can't, she's too dangerous right now," Steve said,

"We have to figure out what is going on..." Said Bruce.

"You guys think I am dangerous...?" I finally spoke up. All the Avengers looking at me.

"Uncle, please... " I put my hand on the glass in front of Tony, a tear rolling down my cheek.

"y/n..." Tony said, putting his hand on the glass.

"That's it..." Loki said while taking a step at Tony, but Thor dragged him out of the room before he could do anything. Wanda and Vision followed them.

I dropped my hand back down to my side.

"It's for your own good..." Steve spoke up,

I snapped, my eyes began to glow pink and I slammed my fist against the glass causing the floor to shake,

"HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR ME? You fuck me once, and you think you know what's best for me?!"

Steve's face paled. Tony turned and looked at him, filled with anger.

Bucky turned and stormed out, bumping into Steves's shoulder as he left.

"Buck..." Steve said following him out. Nat followed Steve out.

Tony turned back towards me,

"You've never acted like this before... I don't know what has changed, but we will figure it out." Tony said, turning to Bruce. Both of them walking out.

I was left, alone, in a cage-like an animal.

I sat down on the floor and brought my knees to my chest, sobbing into them... What is happening to me? I must have dozed off, I woke up to Loki standing in front of me. He bent down to kneel in front of me. How did he get in here?

"You've made quite the mess again kitten." I looked around, the glass cage was covered in ice.

"I didn't mean to..."

"I know darling, I know." Loki sat down next to me, putting his back against the wall.

I went to put my hand on his knee, but my hand fell right through him and he disappeared.

"Sorry kitten. They won't let me actually come in..."

My eyes went to the real Loki standing outside of the glass. I sighed and put my head back between my knees and closed my eyes.

I am sorry they are doing this to you...

My eyes darted back up to Loki, who was now sitting, his back against the glass, facing away from me. I crawled to the front of the cage and put my back against his, glass dividing us.

This is the same cage they put me in once...

I sighed.

I heard you had fun with the Captain before the events unfolded.

I was about to say something in reply but his thoughts cut me off,

It is alright darling, I should have claimed you as mine sooner, but I wanted to play the waiting game. I guess I underestimated the abilities of the mortal men on the team.

Loki talked to me through his thought for a while.

"Loki?" I said,

"Yes?"

"Tell me about Asgard."

I heard Lokis small laugh,

Asgard is beautiful. Skies always clear. The view from the castle was extraordinary. At night, you could see the entire city. I liked sitting and listening to the city fall asleep.

Loki told me about his mother, how she was the most beautiful woman in all of Asgard. He told me stories from his childhood.

"Maybe you can take me there one day..."

I would love nothing more.
