CHAPTER 6 : FATE STARTS TO TAKE PLACE
"you just knew?" Gulf asked the other who still seemed perplexed about him being a male omega.
"yeah.. i mean you smelled like an alpha. Were you perhaps close to an alpha?" Gun asked as they continued to get to know each other.
"yeah stumbled upon one during the run" Gulf says, but his mind drifts off to those grayish eyes.
"His scent kinda lingered on you so I thought you were an alpha" Gun responds.
"Oooh" Gulf says.
"Life must be tough, huh?" Gun snickers at the other.
"As a male omega? yes indeed" Gulf scoffs.
The two spent the night chatting about random stuff until they finally called it a day.
"Goodnight, get some rest. We're leaving early" Gun reminds as he smiled at the other.
"Goodnight and thank you.. for letting me in" Gulf returns the smile as Gun walked to his room leaving Gulf alone in the living room.
'Maybe trusting him wasn't too bad.' Gulf though before he finally drifted to dreamland.
---------------------------------------
Knock, knock, knock.
A knock echoed through the empty hallway.
"Mew...?" Off's voice was heard, calling out the other who seemed to be resting inside his room.
A muffled "yeah?" was heard.
"Urgent meeting, Main Hall." Off informs shortly.
"Who called the meeting?" Mew asked, quite grumpily.
"Your father.. duh who else?" Off says, voice filled with sarcasm.
"Fine, be there in 5" Mew huffs.
"Alright, don't even dare to ditch. Asshole" Off curses.
Soon enough the door opened and a smack was heard as Mew's hand collided with the back of Off's head.
"What did you call me, again?" Mew asks, mocking Off who's scratching the back of his head.
"Nothing, boss" Off rolls his eyes.
"Good." Mew says as they walked through the empty hallways of their cabin, taking long strides to the main hall.
Cabins are provided for three to five people in the pack grounds. You can choose who you want to room with or allow the higher-ups to choose for you.
But only the people with the same classification can stay together. Alphas in one cabin, same with Betas and Omegas.
As for Mew, even though he has a room at the Head Alpha's Cabin, he still prefers to stay with Off and Joss. Not that he didn't want to stay with his father, he just didn't want to disturb him when he's on his way out for the roving.
As they reached the Main Hall, only the Night Walkers were in there.
Mew bowed to his father as he sat on the chair beside him.
No one spoke but the Head Alpha did.
"It's hunting season. We'll have to disperse duties."
