CHAPTER 32 : THE WRATH OF THE ROGUES REPEATS
As soon as Mew was pushed into the secluded room, the first thing he saw was Gulf, trapped on a chair and covered in bruises, scars, blood and scratches.
His heart felt like it was stabbed at the sight.
The next thing he saw was Nattarin, beside him was Lee and behind him was Kita.
“Let’s take this outside shall we?” Lee says as he gestures his men who followed behind Kita to drag Mew and Gulf along the empty field outside.
Mew tried to be as patient as possible, he was trying to see if there were any traps prepared for him before he attacks.
His eyes never left Gulf, not even for a second.
Gulf had his head hung low, losing the energy to look up and meet Mew’s eyes.
Nattarin was smugly leaning on Lee.
Mew could feel Atlas’ rage starting to creep inside him, but he tried to control himself.
‘not yet’ he reminded himself.
“hey pretty boy! Look here!” Nattarin called out as he untied Gulf from the chair causing Gulf to crash on the ground, unable to hold himself stable.
Gulf coughed as he fell on the ground.
Mew was about to come to his aid when suddenly he was held by four men, preventing him from coming any closer.
Mew gritted his teeth, his jaw clenching.
Nattarin smirked and fished out a leather whip.
“Watch closely.” Lee reminded Mew as Nattarin lifted his hand and snapped the whip along Gulf’s back causing him to scream in pain.
His hands finding itself on the grass, holding it tightly.
“No!” Mew screams out, attempting again to break loose.
He himself was having a difficult time to steady himself considering that a huge gushing wound was still evident on his body, he was losing blood, causing him to turn pale and be weaker than usual.
Gulf sobbed, the immense pain on his hands and ankles caused by the tight ropes, the painful scratches on his arms and face, not to mention the fresh wound of the whip on his back was preventing him from fighting back.
And Nattarin made sure that Gulf won’t be able to use his ability, by beating him up till he loses the last bit of energy he has to stay awake.
Gulf’s eyelids were becoming heavy, his body felt numb, he just wanted to rest.
He just wanted it to end.
But his eyes once again blinked open when he heard Mew harshly throwing those who held him back off of him.
Once he was free, he ran and immediately shifted into his wolf form, but before he could even reach Gulf, Lee already had shifted and crashed unto Mew to prevent him from coming closer.
Lee snarled, trying to take dominance of the situation.
Which he had for sure, considering that Mew was injured and is at a disadvantage.
But Mew wouldn’t back down.
And the duel of true blood alphas began.
They fought and fought, jaws sparring, fangs baring, attempting to do a deadly bite but either side wouldn’t let down.
