CHAPTER 31 : "Lee Thanat"
Lee Thanat was Leo Thanat’s only son. Lee had just reached his legality when the wrath of the rogues happened which movement was led by none other than his father. During that night, his father forbade him to come, saying that he could only trust him to protect the others who were left behind specifically, the omegas, pups, and elders.
But truth is, his father knew how dangerous it is to go against the Dark Moon Pack considering that they are one of the strongest packs in the country. Which is the sole reason why Leo didn’t bring Lee along with him.
In his mind, he was thinking if anything happens during the ambush, at least he could trust someone to take over his position and lead the pack.
Leo’s people thought that their Head Alpha chose to ambush the Dark Moon Pack because he wanted to have the power and dominance they hold which is true, but on the other hand, he also had his personal reasons why he chose the Dark Moon Pack.
It was because he knew about the prophecy. He knew the threat that could come to his son and he wanted to end it right there and then but the Moon Goddess wouldn’t let him.
In the end, Leo lost his life to the ‘threat’ he was fearing, Mew Suppasit.
During that night, Lee was left in the abandoned part of the forest where the rogues’ territory lies, together with the elders, omegas, female betas and their pups.
It was already nearing midnight and the people around him were already dozing off but Lee couldn’t because he was more concerned of what was happening on the other side.
Right when he decided to take a short nap, he heard a howl.
But it’s not just a howl.
It was a howl that held sadness, anger, guilt.
In summary, a mourning howl resonated all throughout the forest.
It was emitted by his father’s right hand.
Lee found himself pulling up his knees to his chest, head in between his knees, curling himself as small as possible as bitter tears cascaded down to his cheeks. He fisted his hands at the immense anger he’s feeling but he knew things would just go worse if he rushes to the Dark Moon territories and make a fuss.
He held himself down, trying to compose himself.
He knew he had people to protect and that was his father’s last orders.
And he wouldn’t want to disappoint him.
And so, since then Lee trained himself to be the strongest wolf to ever exist.
Not leaving the fact that he’s a true blood alpha.
His pack members also were the one whos who spread the rumor about him being dead, per orders of the former Head Alpha to hide his identity.
He went to match ups to fight opponents to improve himself in combat, fangs to fangs duel and jaw sparring.
But when he turned 21, he met his mate.
His mate was a rare species.
He was a male omega, a green-eyed at that.
At first he was discriminated because the elders knew about the prophecy even before Leo burned the book where the prophecy lies.
Unlike Gulf, Nattarin knew about the prophecy. He knew exactly who he was.
They were trying to get rid of him, afraid that this omega will bring them danger.
