CHAPTER 25 : "Wrath of the Rogues"

"I don't know what to feel about the green-eyed.." Gun mumbles as they laid in the mattress.

"We don't know what he's capable of except the part where he can read minds.. I'm honestly scared" Saint replies.

"I know.. But the one who's gonna be hit full-blown is Gulfie… How will we tell him? or the others?" Gun asks, worried.

"We'll figure it out" Saint clasps Gun's hands in his.

"Alright.." Gun sighs.

              ------------

The sun rose as the chirping of birds were heard outside.

The sleeping figure on the bed stirred in his sleep as the door of the room opened.

Gulf sleepily sits up on the bed and blinks his eyes lazily, trying to get used to the brightness inside the room.

"Hi, Good Morning" A voice brought him out of his sleepiness.

Gulf looked up only to see Mew clad in his white flowy buttoned shirt with his cloak placed neatly on his shoulders.

"Did I woke up late?" Gulf asks, voice husky and heavy from sleep, taking a quick glance out the windows, only to see that the sun rose in its full glory.

"Nope, I  just didn't wake you up" Mew says as he entered the room and rummaged in his cabinet.

"Why tho? aren't we supposed to guard the borders?" Gulf asked, yawning at the end of his sentence.

"Nah. Dad called it off today"

"Why? What happened?"

"He says we'll be having a meeting" Mew says as he slowly approached the bed holding a spare towel.

"Is it urgent?"

Mew shakes his head.

"It's the annual meeting for the commemoration of the lives we loss during the wrath of the rogues way back years ago" Mew informs as he handed Gulf a clean bath towel.

"Wash up, it'll start in thirty minutes" Mew says, not even batting an eye to the omega.

"You're unusually a softie today. Atlas is that you?" Gulf teases.

"Can you not?" Mew mockingly says.

"Kidding!" Gulf giggles.

Mew swore he felt butterflies when he giggled.

"Thanks! I'll fix the bed first—" Gulf was cut off.

"I'll do it. Sorry for the mess" Mew scratches the back of his head as he pointed to the hoodies sprawled on the bed.

"No, it's completely fine" Gulf smiles from ear to ear, remembering how comfy it was to sleep in.

He liked it way too much.

And Mew believed that, the bright smile was enough to reassure him that the hoodies didn't bother Gulf, not even one bit.

Because truth be told, Gulf liked being covered in that specific scent.

Without further ado, Gulf made his way to the bathroom to wash up.
