"Mom is Harper's Partner"

Y/N P.O.V

"Y/N are you sure mom is working with Harper?" Rachel asked as we all stood in the hallway of the robot,

"Positive"

Ryan let out a heavy sigh and turned towards me,

"As bad as that is, we have worst problems to deal with right now, the city is handing over the ooze to Harper" He spoke,

"What?! Why?!" I asked in shock,

"Harper made a deal with the city, that he'd remove the ooze and rebuild the school" Abigail answered as she leaned on Harris,

"Look all we have to do is-"Mark started but got cut off by the loud ringing of his phone,

He grabbed his phone from his pocket and let out a sigh as he looked at the screen,

He looked up at us and said "It's Mom"

Ryan connected the phone to the robot's speaker so we could hear the conversation as we all stayed quiet,

"Honey are you alright?!"

"Yea" Mark answered,

"Hi mom" Ryan joined,

"I've been trying to reach you for hours, are you okay?" She asked,

"Uh....Yea we're fine, how's northwest fest?" He answered, a little quiver in his voice,

I rested my head on his shoulder to let him know I'm here for him,

She chuckled, "You think I'd stay here with a crazy robot on the loose, thankfully Seth sent an helicopter to bring me back"

It was like the air in the robot vanished, I lifted my head off Ryan's shoulder in sudden surprise,

Ryan stared at the phone as if his mom could see the disbelief painted on his face,

"Wait mom...........Where are you?" He asked, trying to keep his voice as calm as possible,

"Harper futuristics" She sighed, but it was a sigh of relief?

"Seth said it's the safest place in the city, Uh where are you now, he'll send a car"

"Mom NO! Harper is-" Ryan yelled but then the voice of the devil cut himself in,

"Happy to help" He continued Ryan's sentence,

"Where are you guys-Wait you know what let me grab a pen to write it down"

"You really think you could just walk around inside my brain without me knowing your secrets" He continued but his voice sounded deeper,
