Rosettas POV

After the hospital stay which they wanted to keep me over night I went home. The doctors said I should stay home from school for a few days and refrain from extremely stressful activities and stay hydrated.

I sighed. This meant papa had me on bed rest for almost the whole day.

I've been still FaceTiming Delilah and talking to her about stuff happening in school much to papa's displeasure. He loved Delilah like a daughter but he doesn't like she's giving me my daily drama fill.

I then decide to get changed and go down to the kitchen to get something to eat.

"Oof" I say in a huff when I bump into someone

"Roe what are you doing out of bed" Ry asked

"Please don't tell papa I just really want to get out of my room for a bit and I'm not a freaking China doll. The doctors told me to take it easy and stay hydrated" I pout

"Listen dad and papa just want what's best for you. And yes you're right they both did go a bit over board. I have a plan" he said quietly

"Does this mean what I think it does" I say quietly

"Jail break" he says with a smile

"Meet you down in ten minutes cuz that's when papa is going to call and make sure I'm still in bed. I'll go get changed" I squeal happily and quietly

After I got dressed and finished my call with papa I head down to Rylans car.

"So where are we going" I said excitedly

"To downtown. Just figured you'd want to walk around."

"That sounds great. Thank you." I said as I buckled myself and Ry started driving

"You know that you should really have your own car" Ry brought up suddenly

"B-but. You know how I feel bout that" I say in protest

"Yeah I know"

"I feel like there's a but"I retort

"Oh there isn't..." he glances at me briefly

"Although I know you'd be safe and careful. Plus I don't like the idea of you riding public transit by yourself or when it's just you and Delilah. You're just eighteen." I sigh

"Maybe I could" I start

"You know papa and he will not let you pay for one"he interjected

"Yeah I know I just don't want them paying for everything" he smiled, nodded ok and dropped the topic

"So you and Cass" Ry all of a sudden asks

"Was this jail break because you wanted to ask me personal questions"

"Yeah" he sighed

"I'm finishing up school and am going to work with papa in the company and I miss spending time with my baby sister"

He sadly laughs

"You're also growing up so much. The first time I met you, you were just twelve years old and super shy but still had the kindest heart." I smile and tears start coming out of my eyes

I've been here a few weeks almost a month now and I still don't trust anyone especially Asher. He still scares me to no end.

There was then a knock on my door And someone entered

"Hi." I see Rylan as he walks in.

I stay silent. I have spoken but not much

"Flower can I sit on the bed" I've never been called flower before. It made me feel nice

I nod

"Are you mad at us. Did we do something to scare you" Rylan asked

"N-no" I say above a whisper

"Then why don't you talk to us. Why don't you trust us"

"I-I. Nobody's e-ever liked when I talk. They say I s-stutter to much and have a ugly voice. Then they slap me"

"Oh flower nobody's will hurt you. And I think you have a very pretty voice."

I give a shy smile

"Also at night it's dark"

"You're scared of the dark?" He asked while I just nodded my head

"Well we could always talk to dad and papa about leaving some lights on and putting a night light or some fairy lights in your room" he suggested

"R-really"

"Really flower." He smiled and I launched to hug him not caring for possible consequences But instead of throwing me off like I thought he would he just carefully hugged me back

"Thank you"

"Roe you spaced out again"

"Oh sorry I was just thinking" I said as I gave him a smile

"About" he asked wanting me to elaborate.

"When you first came to talk to me six years ago"

"I'm glad I did"He said also reminiscing in the memory

"Me too" I smiled and we just continued driving around for a bit and bring up old stories happily. That was until dad called Rylan.

Dad knew. That's when I look down and I had remembers I left my phone on my dresser back in my room.
