Rosettas POV
________________

Waking up this morning was a little hard not going to lie since I didn't get as much sleep as I usually do.

Looking at my clock I see it's around twelve and I'm still exhausted.

I hear knocking on my door and papa then enters

"Morning baby. Did all the sneaking around and lying keep you up" he says in a kind fatherly tone. Not condescending and not overly sweet just a subtle way to let me know we didn't get away with it.

I groan.

"You did the right thing sweetheart by driving the girls." I hum and rest my head on his shoulder.

"I know" I mumble.

"Hey sweetheart can you do me a favor" I then look up at him

"Depends" I laugh lowly

"Can you drop this off at Phoenix's house for me. I need him to get it ASAP and his assistants usually take a few days. Also I think Cassandra will be there" he says wiggling his eyebrows.

I roll my eyes and nod.

At about noon I drive over to Phoenix's house and ask for him at the security gate.

"Miss Logan I'm afraid that we can not let you in"

"B-but"

"Let her in Lance" I hear from behind me.

"But Ms. Kace" he started

"I'm also a resident of the home and Phoenix is just a call away so I suggest you let her in along with me" Cassandra says with a harsh tone.

With that he glares at me and opens the gate for the both of us.

"So what business do you have with my brother" Cassandra asked

"My dad needed me to drop off some papers to be sighted" I said quietly while she just nods her head.

"So come in. I'll call Phoenix so he can get the papers. Until then we could hang out" she asked

"Um ok"

As promised she did call her brother and she tried to make small talk as we waited with me just awkwardly standing there.

"So cutie I just wanted to say thank you for last night. And I meant what I said" she said and put her hand on my arm

"Stop it" I said pulling out of her touch.

"What's going on. Cassandra I'd appreciate it if you didn't flirt with my business partners daughter." Phoenix announced as he entered the main living room.

"This is from papa. Here you go" I hand him the papers

"Ah yes thank you very much Rosetta."

"I'll be on my way then" I say awkwardly and Phoenix offers me to have a good day as I leave.

Cassandra on the other hand walked to the door with me.

"I don't lie often Rosetta and if I do u have a reason. But I'm not lying about this nor will I deny it. You are very pretty and like I said I will not deny it."

"Stop it" I repeat.

"I'm not looking for a relationship at the moment." I tell her quickly before leaving and hearing a "we'll see" as I left.

Though I am bisexual I did tell her the truth. I'm not looking for a relationship at the moment. Truth be told I've never been in one in all of my eighteen years of life.

But she did intrigue me with her confidence and straight forwardness. Some could say it was arrogance and cocky ness, but I see something much different though I don't know what yet.

Things from my past have always prevented me actually having a relationship with anyone.

I then blush on the way home as I think about some of the things Cassandra had said.
