Rosettas POV

"Good morning darling" Cass said snuggling closer in bed while her arms were already wrapped around me.

"Morning" I mumble and press my face into her chest trying to keep the sunlight out of my vision.

She lets out a chuckle and kisses the top of my head

"We have to get up baby" she says trying to coax me up.

"I know" I whine. I feel gross and like I want to disconnect from everyone today.

"What's wrong Rose" she just gets a whine in response.

"Come on Rosetta." She says lifting my head up slightly off of her chest and puts her hand to my head.

"Oh baby you're burning up" she says with concern.

"But. Who's going to drive the kids to school. And you have work. And so do I."

Cass gives me a very stern look.

"I can take off from work for one day. Especially when my wife is sick and my kids need me. And June and Sophie will understand." I just nod with tears welling in my eyes.

I don't mean to but whenever I'm sick I just get very emotional And Cass knows this.

And when she's sick she's whiny and clingy. I just emotional and clingy. And worry about everything.

Cass walked into our bathroom and got the thermometer

"Open sweetheart" she said nicely

I just complied.

"Now I called Phoenix and told him you were sick and I have the kids. He also offered for them and his to have a sleepover tonight so it can take some stress of of you honey" she said wrapping her arms around me.

I nod

"Make sure that he has them and helps them with their homework and what about Ellie."

"She'll go too. Remember Phoenix had Parker, Jj, and Ashlynn when they were babies. They're still alive right" I nod.

"Get some rest baby I'll make sure everything goes as it's supposed to be ok" I just nod again and close my eyes to be able to sleep

Cassandras POV

"Alright Cass you're a mom you got this." I say giving myself a pep talk while walking to Aspens room.

"Aspen honey it's time to wake up" I say walking into her room

"Alright I'm up" she complains.

"Hey honey how do you feel about going to your uncle Phoenix's house tonight for a sleepover tonight" she instantly brightens up and starts rushing around her room trying to find what to bring.

I laugh

"Remember we have to leave for school in forty five minutes" I remind and walk out of her room.

I know I can rely on Cj being up. Neither Rose or I have to wake him up for the most part. Sometimes we do because he was tired from staying up late the night before or when he's sick.

"Morning Cj" I say and hug him once I see him in the kitchen.

I don't have to wake up Hunter yet since he goes to elementary school and the kids middle school

Ellie is three and a little ball of energy just like the rest of her siblings.

"Is mama feeling ok. I heard you two talking earlier."
He asked sweetly
