Rosettas POV (Ik Ik another time skip but I promise it's not because I'm lazy.)

It's now Friday and I'm exhausted. Cass had exam week since the semester is ending and we haven't talked as much as we did in the beginning of the week. Also she said that Phoenix needed her help with something.

I'm heading over to June's for my shift when the Bluetooth on Rylans car rings with an incoming call and it read out Cass' contact. I answer it

"Hey Rose I know that we haven't talked all week I just wanted to talk since I finished my last exam today."

I sigh
"It's ok"

"No it's not. I want to make it up to you. How about my place tonight and we do whatever you want. We can even make dinner together."

I chuckle a little

"Do you even know how to cook"

"Ha ha and for your information. Well not complicated stuff but I do know how to cook some stuff" she huffed

"How about pizza can you handle that." I giggle

"Yes. And I'll even make a desert."

"Ok well I'm at June's and I have to park I'll see you?"

"At seven...... if that's ok with you" she quickly added

"Course. I'll see you at seven" I said and hung up and parked

"Hey June" I said as I walked in and behind the bar to help with the last hour of the lunch rush and the most busiest.

"Afternoon hun" she said as I passed her.

"I put on my apron and started to make the orders that were piling up and delivered them to there respective tables.

"We can switch off if you'd like" I said to June who'd most likely been on her feet all day. She and Sofi who works with her the other days and times that I don't was helping her until I got here but usually makes everyone's orders.

"That would be lovely" June sighed and handed me the pad to take down orders.

Time came and went and so did the lunch rush. Everything was a bit slower but the cafe still had many customers inside.

I sit at the bar considering everyone has been attended to.

"So how was school this week darling" I sighed

"Trauma-" the bell went off

"Good afternoon" June greeted

"Afternoon" she comes up to the bar and sits down

"Hey Lilah"

"Hi"

"Can I have a cupcake. And get one for Roe she's gonna need it. My treat"

"Ok course" June smiled

"What's up" I asked

"Umm. My parents are apparently divorced as of now." She sighed sadly

"Liah I'm so sorry"

"It's not just that. Um. My mom and dad have dual custody. My parents agreed on that but I'm moving with my mom and I'll be visiting my dad who is staying here" she said tears coming into her eyes"

"When" is all I ask

"I'm moving in with my mom tomorrow I just found out they got the divorce finalized on Monday and mom said she needed space so she moved out two weeks ago. She says that I should stay with whoever I want but need to visit the other. I want to stay Roe but my mom needs me." She say

"I know. And don't think for a moment you could forget me. Well FaceTime whenever we can and not only that we can hang out after you spend some time with you dad when you visit." I hugged her hoping it would make me feel better

"Yeah your right" She sniffed

"Can we hang out tonight" I instantly felt guilty

"Um. I had plans" Delilah being Delilah she knew

"Ooh like a date" she said her spirits a bit higher

"Um kind of. We're not official yet"

"Who" she instantly demanded

"Cassandra Kace"

"Oh my god" she squealed

"You two would be so cute together"

"What time do you get off from work and when is the not official date. Also where is it the venue is an important thing you know" I giggled I guess this was the prefect distraction for the time being

"Here you two go" June said handing us two vanilla cupcakes

"Thanks" we both respond at the same time

"Now spill" she demanded

"So it's a casual dinner date at her house. I get off at six and the date is at seven so can you help me get ready" I asked timidly knowing how excited she gets

"Of course" she says happily.

"Well it's just four now so I'll stay and we can also hangout but obviously your work comes first. So off you go" she said and the bell rang

"Hey Gemma" I said

"Hi I have great news" she says and sits at the bar With Lilah

"And that is" I ask

"The puppy you met finally got a home" she said happily

"Oh" I said "that's great Gem" I said sort of sadly. I had talked it over with dad and papa and they said at the end of the week is she was still there I could adopt her considering she was a very small breed. But I guess not.

"I was actually thinking about adopting her if she was still there tomorrow"

"Oh Rosetta I'm really sorry" I smiled

"It's ok. At least I know she got a nice home" and Gem and Lilah agreed.

The rest of my shift went by nicely with Gem talking to me for the rest of her lunch break and Lilah waiting for me.

Once I got home Lilah helped me pick out a cute but casual romper with flats.

Cass also told the security team that I could be let in whenever I came or wanted. So now I had the clearance to go in and out whenever I pleased though I'd almost always check with Cass
