"Rose... w-why aren't you breathing?" I ask as I start tearing up.
"Oh my gosh...." Willie whispers.
"Why isn't she breathing?!" I shout.
"I-I don't know! She might be-"
"I'm sorry Julie and Carlos. I should have looked after her more. Unfortunately, it's too late. She's gone..." Her husband says. Both kids start crying again and they all huddle together for a hug.
"I-I can't believe it." I say.
"Emma..." Willie says.
"She's gone... She's gone and I can't ever see her again!" I fall to my knees and start crying. Willie walks over and gives me a hug.
"Hey, it's gonna be okay. She's in a better place now."
"I know... I just wish she never left. I-I wish I never left, then we could have been closer." He gives me another hug after I say that.
"I know it's hard. But it's not your fault. Remember that. And at least she got to meet you before she passed."
"Thanks Willie. That means a lot!" I stand up and brush myself off. "We should probably head back."
"Right." Before we left, I walked closer to Rose.
"G-Goodbye Rose. Thank you for everything. I know we didn't see each other long enough. But it was worth meeting you at that concert. And I promise, I will watch after your kids and husband to make sure they're safe."
"That's an amazing thing that you're doing, Emma. I know you can't physically take care of them, but you can at least guide them. You're an amazing person, I hope you know that. And no matter what, Rose is proud of you."
"Thanks Willie. Should we head back now?"
"Yeah." We teleport back to the club.
"I should probably get ready for my performance tomorrow. Thanks for everything."
"Anytime. Let me know if you need anything else."
"Will do." I dry my tears again before heading back to my room. All of a sudden, Caleb transports in front of me and Willie. Oh no... we came back late. This is not going to end well.
"H-Hey Caleb. How's it going?" Willie says nervously.
"Oh it's going great! Other than the fact that you are an hour late!" Caleb says.
"We're really sorry, sir. I told Emma that we should-"
"No. It wasn't Willie's fault." I say confidently.
"Really?" Caleb asks as he raises his eyebrow.
"It was my fault. I wanted to stay longer to see a friend of mine. Willie told me we need to head back but I said to not worry about it. Please don't blame him. Let him go." He looks over at Willie then back at me.
"Well, thank you for your honesty. Unfortunately, there are rules. And, as I have told Willie, if they are broken, you will get what you deserve. Now, since Willie was still a part of this, I will give him a punishment. And that is to stay in his room and never leave unless I tell him to. Now, Willie, you can head to your room now. I won't be needing you anymore tonight." Willie looks over at me, then back to Caleb.
"Caleb, wait, she didn't mean to-" Caleb interrupts and signals him to go to his room. Willie sighs, and teleports over there. I look down and frown. Shoot, I'm busted.
"Emma, Emma, Emma. I never thought I would have to get to this moment. At least, not yet. Usually, new members don't break the rules right away. But, unfortunately, the rules are the rules. And I'm afraid I have no choice but to give you what you deserve."
"Sir, I am so sorry. I-" I say then felt a huge shock and fell back. Caleb chuckles as he walks over to me.
"Since you have decided to stay out late, you won't be able to go out anymore. If you do, you will get shocked. And if you continue to do that, you will get punished even more. Remember, I made you a ghost. I can easily take that back."
"Y-Yes sir."
"Now, if you want to be a good ghost, I suggest you head to your room and practice for your next performance. You're lucky I don't keep you in your room permanently." I stand up and start walking to my room slowly. "Oh, and Emma?" I turn around and look at him. "About the stamp, I think I'm going to keep it on you for a while. At least until I can get your trust back." I nod my head slowly and enter my room. How does he know I talked about it? Does he hear everything I tell Willie?
Hey everyone! Sorry if this is a little bit shorter. I'll try to update soon! Let me know if you have any questions!
