~A week later~

We attended the funeral for Ashley's miscarried twins. I felt so bad for her. She was so excited to have them. 

"We are here for you Ash." Buck told her. 

"I know." She replied. 

Buck and I hugged her and headed back home to Wakanda.

I woke up feeling awful. I remembered what Ashley told me about pregnancies with super serum genes. I decided to text her and ask her to come use her powers to feel my belly. She arrived quickly and placed her hands on my abdomen. 

"I say you should go take a test or two honey." She smirked.

I went to the bathroom and took a rapid result test. I sat and waited for the results. When two lines appeared on the test. I didn't quite believe it so I took a digital too. Waited 3 minutes. And when I looked it was positive.

I walked back out with the tests in my hand. 

"Ash!" I squealed, "They're positive!" 

"Oh I already knew that silly." She told me. "Would you like to know the details?"

"What details?" I asked.

"Like if there is one or two." She smiled.

"Oh sure." I replied.

"Well congrats." She smiled. "You are having twins."

"I have to tell Buck" I smiled.

I went down the stairs to the kitchen to see Buck dancing and singing to the radio. I walked up behind him and set the tests on the counter in front of him. 

"What are these?" He asked me.

"Look at them." I told him.

He looked at them for a second and turns around quickly.

"Are you really!?" He exclaimed.

"Yes!" I smiled, "That's not all though."

"What do you mean?" He asked. 

"Well I talked to Ashley, she is here." I started "She felt my belly and well we are having twins Buck."

"No way!" He got excited. "Really?"

"Yes!" I laughed.

He hugged me lightly and kissed my forehead. He ran down the stairs. 

"We're having twins!!!!" I heard him yell through the stairwell.

I laughed again. 

Ashley came down the stairs. 

"I am happy for you two" She smiled. 

"Thank you Ash." I pulled her into a hug. 

She had two cards in her hand. She handed them to me.

"Open these later before you two go to bed." She winked.

"Okay" I giggled.

I put them in Buck and I's room on my nightstand. I heard Buck still yelling about our good news.

"Ava!!!" I heard my mom yell. "Is it true?" 

"Yes mom," I smiled, "Buck and I are having twins."

"Oh thats amazing!" She told me. "I can even see a little bump there."

I looked down quickly. She was right. They were growing faster already.

"Oh goodness." I giggled, "They'll be here in a few weeks." 

Bucky came running in. He saw my hands on the bump. 

"Already?" He gasped, "You just took the tests!"

"I know, but because of my dad's serum and yours added to it," I started, "The twins will be here in a few weeks."

His mouth fell open. I laughed at him. He ran to the kitchen to grab something. And he came back with a plate of breakfast he had been making me. 

"I made this for you doll." He grinned.

On the plate there were 2 pancakes, an omelette, 3 slices of bacon, and a piece of toast with his plum jam on it. 

"Awe thank you." I started to tear up.

"Oh whats wrong Ava" He started to panic. 

"She is just emotional Buck" My mom laughed. "She is fine."

The day went on and my bump grew a little more that night. We were on a mini vacation away from Wakanda. We went and stayed at my parent's vacation house. My dad was on his honeymoon with his new wife Abbie. I had just found out that Bri was my half sister. I climbed into bed and grabbed the envelopes off my nightstand.

"Buck come here" I called.

I heard him turn the sink off. 

"Coming." He replied.

He came in and sat in his spot next to me. 

"Whatcha got there" He said pointing at the envelopes.

"Ashley gave them to me." I told him. "She told me to open them before we went to bed."

"Well then let's open them" He smiled. 

I took one and placed it in my lap. I took the other one in my hand and opened it up. I pulled out a card that read: "Inside this card is the Gender of one of your twins." 

"Oh my gosh," I squealed. "These are the genders of our twins Buck!"

"I know I can read" He smirked. "Open it."

I opened the card and Pink confetti fell out. 

"We're having a girl!" I smiled. 

"Can I open the other one?" He asked. 

I handed him the second one.

"Of course" I laughed. 

He opened the second envelope and pulled out the card which read the same thing. 

"You ready?" He asked me.

"Yes!!" I squealed again.

He opened the card and blue confetti fell out.

"A boy!" He grinned, "We can start thinking about names" 

"Okay." I yawned. "We can do that tomorrow."

"Okay doll" He smiled and kissed my nose.

"Goodnight Buck" I whispered. 

I felt his arms wrap around me and rest on my bump.

"Goodnight Ava." I heard him whisper back.
