~A week later~

We decided to keep the genders a secret. We were going to reveal the genders and names at our baby shower. I was huge. Buck was a big help with the pregnancy. We were setting up the Baby Shower decorations and my mom was begging us to tell her the genders early. We weren't going to. Everyone was arriving and we were so excited to share with everyone.

"Alright we are going to have you all guess the genders of our twins!" I announced. "Ashley you don't get to"

She laughed. 

"Of course not" She winked.

"Mom? What do you think?" I asked.

"I think two boys." My mom replied.

"Okay," Bucky said, "Sam?"

"I think you're gonna get cursed with two girls." Sam chuckled.

"Anyone think one of each?" My mom started yelling. 

I looked at Buck and grinned.

"Okay, here we go." I announced. 

"Baby A," Buck started to say, "Is a Girl!"

Everyone started clapping. 

"And her name will be Aerilyn Mae Barnes" I smiled. 

Everyone started smiling at each other.

"And Baby B," I started, "Is a...Boy!" 

Sam starting whistling over all the clapping. 

"And his name will be Steven Xavier Barnes" Buck announced.

"Great another Steven." My mom groaned.

I laughed at her. I felt my bump start to grow. Everyone was paying attention to see how big it would get. 

"Ouch" I winced.

"You okay Ava?" Buck asked holding onto my back. 

"Yeah, they're starting to move around a lot" I smiled. 

I placed his hand where I had felt the movement. I felt the pressure of a foot under his hand. 

"Wow." He smiled. "That is amazing." 

"It is" I agreed with him.

"Ooh I want to feel" Ashley said.. 

She came over and placed her hands on each side of the bump. 

"They are healthy," She told us, "Strong too."

"That's good" I smiled.

"They will be born any day now" Ashley said. 

"Oh yay." I replied nervously.

The next couple of days went by fast. Buck and I were doing breathing exercises everyday to help prepare for the birth of the twins. On May 26th I started having contractions. Ashley told me that's what they were. But the process sped up. And I was ready to push in an hour. Ashley stayed with me while Buck called some of our close family and friends. Abbie and Bri came in. 

"Alright Ava let's have these babies" Ashley told me.

"Okay" I winced. 

"Go ahead and push now Ava" Ashley instructed.

*First Push* 

"Good Ava, Now keep going" Ashley told me.

*Second Push" 

"Baby is crowning one more push Ava." She said. 

*Third Push*

"And we got," She started, "A boy."

She wrapped him in a towel and had Dr. Strange care for him while I continued.

"Okay second baby is coming." Ashley smiled.

*First Push* 

"Good Keep going" She was getting excited.

*Second Push*

"Almost there one more" She grinned.

*Third Push*

"Good job Ava!" I heard Abbie say.

"And we got the girl!" Ashley squealed. 

She handed Aerilyn Dr. Strange and went to bring Steven to me. She put him in my arms and I smiled.

"Hi Steven" I cooed. 

Bucky walked in. He smiled when he saw me holding Steven. He came over to us. 

"Hey buddy" Bucky smiled. "You've got your mommy's eyes" 

Bucky looked up at me grinning. 

"He sure does" I bragged. 

Ashley brought Aerilyn over and placed her in Bucky's arms.

"And you," Bucky started to coo, "You have my eyes."

I looked at her. She did have his eyes. 

"They're beautiful" I smiled. 

Then I noticed Steven has red hair and my eyes. And Aerilyn had brown hair and Bucky's eyes. It was quite interesting. My mom came in.

"Oh let me look at them!" She tried to whisper but was loud.

My mom came over and was looking at them. 

"They are precious" She cooed. 

Everyone took turns holding and cooing. Bucky and I were happy with our little family. We wondered what types of strengths they would develop as they grew older. I leaned in and kissed Bucky.

"Good job doll." He smiled. 

"Thank you" I grinned. 

"Get some rest." He told me. 

I fell into a good sleep.
