Finishing off my look with a few sprays of my Marc Jacobs perfume, I grabbed my clutch bag and turned round whilst staring at myself in the mirror.
The very short black dress fitted me perfectly and hugged my curves to the point where I could stare at myself all day.
Even though it was a night for drinks, it wouldn't be fun without a bit of male attention. I loved getting them all riled up, but they wouldn't be getting any of this tonight.
Happy with how I looked, I left the warmth of my bedroom and carefully walked down the stairs.
As I reached halfway down the stairs, my eyes fell on dad shaking his head whilst glaring at me.
"You call that a dress?" he mocked whilst attempting to give me a stern look, but he didn't intimidate me.
"You're one to talk, where did you get your jumper from, the 1930's?".
Dad's eyes widened at my sassy comeback, but he knew better than to question my fashion. My empire may have started off with rough sketches, but at 19 I had my own company and it was growing by the day.
"Excuse me, your Grandma made it for me. I wanted her to feel appreciated whilst talking to her on face time. But seriously, can't you just wear some leggings under it?" he whined as he stared at me completely unimpressed by my outfit choice.
I stared at him in disbelief wondering if he was joking around, but his face held no humour.
"How could you suggest something so hideous Mr Hendricks" Mum's voice sounded from behind dad.
I couldn't help but smirk as she swayed her way over to us with 2 doughnuts in her hand.
"Tell her she needs to cover up" dad tried pleading with mum as he tried reaching for a doughnut, but she dodged his incoming arms and walked past him.
"Ignore the old fart sweetheart, you look stunning. Have an amazing time, call me if you need absolutely anything" mum winked before walking away into the living room.
"Oh and don't think about following me honey, you tried to steal my doughnut. I'm mad at you" mum scolded dad as she stuffed the whole doughnut in her mouth. I couldn't help but laugh as he followed her with puppy dog eyes.
"Bye dad" I teased as I flicked my hair over my shoulders and walked to the door.
"What is this, a get at Oscar day or something. Bloody women" he muttered quietly to himself before walking into the kitchen.
Ensuring I had my car keys, I walked out the door and swiftly unlocked my car door before stepping inside.
Even though I was going for drinks, I wanted to arrive in style.
My dad owned one of the most luxurious clubs in London and of course being his daughter came in handy. Drinks on the house.

Stepping out of my Lamborghini, I couldn't help but smirk at the thirsty looks from men and the jealous scorns from women.
"She's a beauty Miss Hendricks" Noel smiled as he gawked at my new car.
"She certainly is. You take good care of her Noel" I chuckled as I threw my keys over to the trusted manager of my father's club.
With my clutch bag in my hand, I walked round my car and linked my arm with Lizzie who looked so damn good. I was relieved she was not wrapped up in her duvet crying whilst watching The Notebook. She deserved a man and not a pathetic little boy.
