You clutch at the desk as your breathing stops and you feel yourself beginning to faint.

But you can't faint. You can't lose consciousness now, not while you're alone.

Alone.

Your voice catches in your throat as you try in vain to shout for help, for anyone to come save you. Another bout of convulsions crashes into you and you collapse, shaking violently.

You know immediately that this is worse than any panic attack you've ever had.

You mind flashes back to the days at the Academy, the beatings, the dark, the cold. The screams, blood.

"STOP!" You yell, begging for the memories to leave you. You curl up in the fetal position, with your head between your knees, trying to control yourself.

"Y/N?" A muffled voice questions, somewhere behind the door.
Oh thank god, you think.
"Y/N!"

There's shuffling and creaking on the other side of the locked door and then, with a loud CRACK, the door falls open and you feel warm hands covering your cold ones.

"Y/N, baby? Breath baby, breath."

Strong arms surround you and you catch a whiff of the deliciously familiar scent of vanilla. Your breathing almost immediately starts slowing down as the feeling of safety associated with the warm breath fanning across your cheeks sets in.

Small kisses scatter over your face and you lean into Nat a little more. You want to stay here; you want her to stay here.

"Nat- Nat don't -" you try choking out words, but fail.
"I'm not going anywhere baby, I'm right here," Nat coos, nuzzling her face into your hair.

You start calming down in the love she's radiating. She slowly strokes your hair, whispering love words in your ear.

Slowly, you come back to reality. Your breaths become normal and your heart stops trying to thud out of your chest.

You tiredly lift up your head, to see Nat's ocean green eyes gazing down at you.

"I'm.. I'm sorry."
"Its okay sweetie... Its okay."

"I missed you, I missed you so bad. I tired to tell myself it was for your good, but I can't... Not anymore.."
Nat sits there and let's you vent, occasionally stroking your hair. Once your done, she softly pecks your lips.

"You think it was easy to get over you?"
"I'm sorry Nat."
You mean it. In the course of attaining something ideal, you had ended up hurting the both of you.

"Don't be sorry baby," Nat answers, holding you closer. You feel yourself drifting to sleep. Its been so long since you had a good nights sleep...

Nat let's you dose off. You're where you belong, right there in her arms.

This feels rushed. I didn't really wanna put a happy ending for this, but it just came out. I might unpublish this or just put up a parallel ending.
Don't hate me if I'm not doing ur request.. I haven't forgotten, I'm just not feeling all 'fluffy' rn.. I'll try my best.
