Just some fluff <3

"Can you stand?" Nat asks, brows furrowing. You bite your bruised lip, shuffling your beat up legs so they're positioned on the ground. Nat's eyes shine with concern as she watches your every wince, fighting the urge to help you up yourself.

"Yeah... Yeah I think so."

You push yourself off the steel chair, straightening yourself, but as soon as you're fully upright your knees buckle under you, and you're falling to the ground.

Your hands flail to hold something, a wall, the chair, anything to stop yourself from-

Nat catches you just as you're about to hit the ground, settling you back on the chair. She pushes your tangled hair back with worry, stroking your cheek and jaw. "Its bad.."

"It'll be okay in a week."

You lean back, frustrated with yourself.
"Its okay.." Nat says kindly, sensing your helplessness. She tucks one hand under your knees, looping the other behind your back.
"I've got you."

Slowly, Nat lifts you off the chair and into her arms. The sudden close proximity to her beautiful features takes your breath away, as she cradles you close to her chest and starts walking toward your room.

"You don't have to-"
"I know I don't. I want to."

Her warmth over powers you and you're  helpless in her touch. "I could get used to this."

Nat chuckles softly, nuzzling your cheek as she sets you down on the bed. She boops your nose lovingly. "Oh yeah?"

You pull her down in answer, attaching your lips in a soft sweet kiss that goes on for many minutes. Your hands pull desperately at her and she follows your touch, laying down beside you.

Her arms hug you close and you pull away momentarily disarmed by the softness of the moment.

"You should really sleep now."
"Only if you stay."

Nat breaths a laugh, kissing your eyelids, causing them to close. "I'll stay right here."

"Good cause I won't let you leave now."
"I'm not going to."
"Good, you can't."

"Just shut up and go to sleep," Nat scrunches her nose, pulling you impossibly close. "And tomorrow we'll go to Bruce about your MANY injuries."
You groan.
