Lauren's POV:

I'm freaking out. I pushed the curtain aside and saw thousands of people in the audience. I couldn't do this. Apparantly, Louis could sense my nerves, causing him to grab my shoulders, forcing me to look in his bright blue eyes.

"Calm down, Laur. I'm right next to you. Your brother is in the audience. Camila is in the audience." He said. I nodded.

"Did you see her?" I asked him. I needed to know for sure she was here.

"I did, first row, a bit to the left. Got yourself a keeper." He said smirking, winking as he walked to his position.

"And up next, from Miami High, give it up for The Harmonizers!" I heard the man on the stage calling, and I took a deep breath. I gave Louis one last look, before the music started and I started singing.

At first I was a bit nervous, but I quickly spotted Camila, and after that, everything went perfectly. Louis joined me after the first chorus, and I only focused on having fun.

We ended the first song and the audience went wild. I smiled, and moved more backwards to stand in my correct position. Ashley and Ally started a sort of duet, singing Kill em with Kindness, and then Justin joined in for the chorus with Hall of Fame.

The judges looked impressed, just as the audience and I found myself smiling once again. Dinah and Normani danced around the stage, and when the song ended, everyone was exhausted.

Louis and Justin started screaming happily, exclaiming a 'thank you' into the mic. I found my favorite brown eyes again. She gave me to thumps up, grinning stupidly. I beamed at her, adrenalin streaming through my body. We walked of stage, and I flung myself into Camila's arms.

"I'm so proud of you!" She wispered in my hair. I smiled, breathing in her scent. I let go of the brunette, to find Ashley standing behind me. I'm preparing myself for the points for improvement she was going to point out to me. They never came.

"You were great, Lauren." She said, holding her hand up. I high-fived her, smiling as Camila wrapped her arms around my waist.

"You too!"

Next came Chris who congratulated me, same as the rest of the Harmonizers. Paxon started performing, so we all took a seat. I took my girlfriend and sat her on my lap, needing some physical contact to keep me calm.

The performance wasn't bad, but it certainly wasn't better than we were, so I was confident we could make it to Nationals. The judges came onto the stage, presenting the trophies.

"Hello everyone, I am very delighted to announce the winner of this year's show choir award." A middle aged woman, whose name I already forgot, said. "Let's welcome everyone on the stage. From Jacksonville, we have the Vocalmaniacs!" The group who performed as first walked up the stage, their teacher up front.

"Next up, from Miami, give it up for the Harmonizers!" The crowd cheered as we walked up the stage, and Mr. Payne shook the woman's hand.

"And lastly, from Orlando, The Sound Factor!" The last group joined us on the stage, and everyone went silent. I was shaking with anticipation. Camila looked up at me, and gave me a confident smile. I nodded, getting the message she was sending me. It was going to be alright.

"Third place, is going to... Vocalmaniacs!" The audience cheered, and I relieved the breath I was holding. But only for a minute, since the first place wasn't ours yet.

"Now, the moment we've all been waiting for. First and second place. It was a tough choice, but the first place is going to... Miami High, the Harmonizers! Which means second place goes to The Sound Factor!" The woman exclaimed happily.
