Laurens POV

This was the second time this week. The second time that I needed to hide from Mahone. I wasn't necessarily scared of him, I just knew that he was way stronger. All my life people told me that I was a mistake. So it didn't affect me that much anymore. But all the slushies were something that affected me more. 

"I'm comin' for you Jauregui. You can run but you can't hide." I heard his voice say. How did he even find me. This was a place he had never been before. No one goes to the auditorium, only when they'd be needed there. 

I just sat still, trying to make no noise as he searched the room. After a minute or three, someone came in the room. A girls voice spoke:" Austin, what are you doing here? We have Spanish in less than two minutes. What's the point of me tutoring you when you don't even show up to class?" "Sorry Mila, i just lost track of time." He said as he looked around the auditorium one more time. They went out the door and I released a breath I didn't know I was holding. 

When I was sure the coast was clear, I ran. Hoping I didn't bump into anyone, I sprinted to the class. I can't be late again. Even though miss Lovato loved me, I know she can't let me get away with it again. No one knows Mahone scares me like that, and I didn't want anyone to. But ofcourse the heavens we're against me. I saw the classroom when I felt a weight against my body and the next thing I know, I was on the floor. 

"Oh sorry, I didn't saw you" I said without looking at who I bumped into. I started picking up my books when an all too familliar voice spoke:" No worries, i'll help."  I looked up and saw the face of the person I was crushing on for the last three years. Without a word I stood up and walked into the room. Camila said something about a book that I left but I didn't care. I needed to get away before I could embarrass myself more.

"I'm serious Dinah! If Austin saw me I'm sure I would be dead by now." It was lunch time and I sat in the choir room, with Dinah, my best and only friend. No one comes in here so I was safe for an hour. "Lauser, you need to stop hiding. Your amazing and just because your into hot chicks instead of dicks, doesn't give him the opportunity to make you feel like shit everyday." Dinah said serious. She always talks about how I can't let him decide how I live my life, but it's not something I can change. 

"I know, I know." I said avoiding her gaze. Before she could say anything else, her phone rang and she took it. "Hi mani....Yeah ofcourse... Right now? No that's fine... I'm sure she will be alright...Okay see ya." I looked at her stunned. "Dinah-Jane Hansen. Are you going on a date RIGHT NOW?!" She laughed a bit akward and put her hand in her hair. "Uhm, I mean only if you can handle it, I could just cancle or rescedule or..." I interrupted her:" Dinah go, go get your girl." She caught me in a breathtaking hug. "Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'll make it up to you, love you girl bye." I laughed at her while she ran out of the choir room.  "It'll be just me then." I thought out loud. 

I got so caught up in my book that I didn't hear the door open again. "Oh I'm sorry, I didn't know someone was in here." I looked up. A small girl stood in the door opening with her hands behind her back. "No problem." I smiled. At least she didn't throw a slushie yet. "Do you want me to go, or?" I asked. "Only if you want to, it would be nice if someone stayed but I can't force you can I?" I smiled again. "I'll stay then. What were you about to do?" She walked to the computer and started a song.

She motioned for me to join her. I grapped a microphone and sang. 

I figured it out. Saw the mistakes of up and down

We finished the song and laughed. "That was amazing, you have an amazing voice..." "Lauren." I smiled. "Ally." She said, holding her hand out. I took it and moments later the bell rang. I went to the classroom and she stayed here. It was a project or something. I didn't question it, and walked away, for the first time in a long time without fear. Wrong decission. "Waddup dyke!" I felt a slushie hit my face and without looking who did it I went to the bathroom. Way to screw up a good day.
