Lauren's POV:

"That you're what?" She asked, looking at her face. I looked up, brown eyes looking straight into mine.

"That I'm not good enough, even if I can't love you more."

There. I said it. I took a sharp breath, bracing me for Camila's reaction. She was frozen, not doing anything for a few minutes. I got scared, not knowing what she was thinking. Her eyes were blank and dull. I took her hand, and only then she got out from her daze. She turned to me.

"What?" She said. Her eyes finally showed emotion again. Hurt and confusion flashed through those chocolate pools, burning my eyes with her stare. I turned away.

"I'm scared you'll find someone better, Camila." I whispered. "I'm scared you'll find out you're way too god for me. I'm scared you wake up from this dream and you'll leave."

Camila was silent. She didn't react for a few minutes, and only when I stood up she reacted. She took my face in between her hands and kissed me. As always, fire erupted inside my body. My girlfriend leaned back, resting her forhead on mine.

"Don't. Ever. Doubt. My. Love." She said in between pecks. I had my eyes closed, scared if I opened them she wouldn't be in front of me. Camila pecked my eyelids, first the left, then the right.

"Open your eyes baby." She whispered on my lips. I sighed, but complied slowly. I opened my eyes, and immediately got lost in her wide brown eyes.

"I need you to listen carefully, please." She said.I nodded, scanning her face, imprinting it in my memory.

"You, Lauren Michelle Jauregui Morgado, are the only person I love. I've loved you for the past three and a half years. I get that you are insecure. I really do. I've been a bitch for three of those years. But I need you to understand that I am in love with you. I will never, never leave you. Not if you don't want me to. I will do everything and anything to make you happy. I promise that we will end up together. We get married after college. We go to France for our honeymoon, since I know you love it there. We get three kids, two girls and a boy and we'll love them more than anything in the world. You go to work everyday while I take care of the kids and have my office where I can write. I want all of that."

Tears were flooding freely from my eyes now.

"You really want that?" I asked. She smiled softly.

"More than anything." She said. I leaned forward, and kissed her hard. We started smiling into the kiss, causing us to break apart. She sighed.

"You know. When I heard the song I really thought you were gonna break up with me." She said, chuckling a bit. She chuckled even harder when she saw my shocked face.

"What?!" I exclaimed. She giggled loudly. "No. I could never leave you!" I added serious. She smiled, kissing me again.

"Can I ask you a question?" Camila whispered on my lips after the kiss. I nodded.

"I was just wondering, when did you know you fell in love with me?" She asked, fidgeting slightly. I took a hold of her hands.

"Uh. Well I always liked you. Ever since the moment I saw you walking in the hallways back in freshman year. But I guess that I didn't really love you until the night up my balcony. I didn't get why you'd ever go to me, you know. You had friends enough, and yet you came to my house to get my help. It gave me a sense of pride, I guess. Like you trusted me enough to talk about your problems. And well, the night cuddling under the moonlight did wonders for my feelings."

She chuckled at that, but I continued.

"Maybe I did love you before that. I mean, when you were still with Mahone, you always protected me, even if you didn't even know you'd done it. But the moment I, you know, knew it was you was when you were laying in my arms on my balcony." I ended. She smiled, and leaned forward kissing me once again.
