Camila's POV

"Lauren. Can I stay here?" I ask when she returns.

"You mean for tonight? Ofcourse."

"No I mean until summer."

She looks at me. I see the debate inside her head. She's probably deciding how she can say no without being to harsh. Fuck, I'm moving to LA. Is that even legal? Living with people, moving schools without parents approval. I don't know. What if I can't live with Hailee 'cause my parents won't allow it. No no no n-

"Camila, hey! Calm down." I hear Lauren say. She wipes my cheeck and I noticed that I'm crying. "Please don't kick me out. I promise I won't be a bother and I-I'll clean the house! But please don't leave me. I know I can't force you an-"

"Shht. Calm down Camila. Yes you can stay here, but you won't clean shit." She says and I've never felt more relieved.

"Are you serious? Omg thank you so much!" I probably look extremely desperate and stupid that I'm so happy but I don't care. If I have a house where I can stay in, I'm not lost. "But wait, what about your parents?"

"My parents are almost never home. They're gone for two months, and when they're back, they'll be gone in a week again. So you have to hide for a week, or we come up with an excuse. But that's far away. For now, If you don't mind, I'm gonna sleep out here. You can have the bed if you want and we'll sort everything out tomorrow."

I can only nod. I send Hailee a quick text saying that everything is alright and I'll call her tomorrow, before joining Lauren outside. We don't say anything. We just lay next to eachother until I fall asleep. The last thing I heard was Lauren softly humming. And for once in my life, I can go to bed in peace.

Laurens POV

It was lunch the next day. Dinah had been asking questions since she saw me, but I didn't want to say anything about Camila. So I held it casual, with short answers. "Wait, you're serious? You won't tell me anything?"

"No Dj, I won't tell you shit, because it's not my place to talk. She stayed the night because she was tired." Camila specifically asked not to talk about this with anyone, so she won't. It's not that she doesn't trust Dinah, but she and Mani are dating, so if she'll tell anyone, it's her. And If Normani talks to Camila, I'm fucked.

"Fine. But don't ask me for details about my life with Mani, 'cause you won't be gettin' any."

"If you want details, you can ask me. Dinah's kidding." Mani said as she walked by, Camila next to her. She has an oversized T-shirt, matching her white skinny jeans. I lock eyes for a split second, before she turns away.

"No, don't need that Mani." I laugh. Honestly the last thing I want to know is how everything goes between them. The cute stuff is sweet to listen to, but Dinah talks about everything that had happened. And I don't need that.

"Honestly Dinah, why do you think that I need to know All that happens. If I want cute deets, I'll ask Mani. But to threaten me with that. Not a good idea." I smile, because I almost never win when it comes to an argument with Dinah.

"Why'd you threaten her babe?" Normani asks Dinah. "Because Lauser here has something to say but doesn't want to tell me." She looks at me accused.

"What is it Laur? You can tell us anything you know that right." Mani tells me. And I know. "I told Dinah already, it's not my story to tell. So I won't talk. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go to the bathroom." I say as I stand up.
