Chapter 5

Hey quick message before I start this chapter I would just like to let you know that I am Australian and don't know much about American schools so I will be going off my school time table and stuff so sorry if that annoys you but if you could help me out with what Americans schools are like that would be very appreciated. Your Pov:

A consent beeping sound could be heard coming from somewhere in my room bring me back to real life once again. Realizing that the ongoing sound is coming from my phone I reach over and grab it turning off the sound by pressing everywhere on my phone not wanting to be awake right now. Rolling back over I close my eyes again and start to fall back to sleep.

Around 10 minutes later the same beeping noise can be heard pulling me out of my sleep again. This time I remembered why my phone is making the noise. I shot up out of bed running to the bathroom to where I left my outfit and had a shower getting ready for today. Putting on my shirt to finish my look I do my hair in just a simple low ponytail and put it onto a little bun. Looking at myself in the mirror and checked myself out to make sure I look good. I was wearing light blue skinny jeans and another baggy jumper to hide most of my body. After looking at myself being happy with what I saw I left the bathroom and made my way into my room.

I packed everything that I would need for the week because I know they have their own lockers so soon I can just leave everything in there. lifting up my bag was a struggle since it weighed like a pound.

"y/n get downstairs now we have to go or you'll be late on your first day" mum called from downstairs. I panicked looking at my phone to see that school starts in 30 minutes. I run down the stairs almost tripping over myself and meet my parents in the living room.

"I'm ready," I say to them

"y/n what about breakfast?" dad questioned me giving me an eyebrow raise.

"We don't have time I'll just get something at school" This was a lie I just never have breakfast. We make our way out to our car and I spot Craig walking out of his house with his sister and getting into his car. He must be old enough to drive. I hop into the backseat of the car and we drive to school.

When we arrived I got nervous not knowing where anything is and how I'm going to get so lost. My parents asked me if I needed help or if I wanted them to come in. I just told them

"no thanks I should be alright" this was another lie. I have no idea where I'm going but I don't need the whole school to see me for the first time walking into school with my parents.

I give them both a kiss goodbye and walk into the school. As I opened the doors I see a bunch of kids walking around the school and at their lockers or in their small groups. I try my hardest not to be seen but as I walk through the hallway I couldn't help but feel eyes were on me. When I looked up to see who they were no one was looking at me. good. I kept on walking down the hallway not knowing where the office is. Looking down at my phone to reread what the email said I run into someone. Great.

"I am so sorry I didn't see where I was goi- Craig?" I looked up to see the same blue hat and dark blue eyes.

"hey y/n" Craig just responded to me looking around to see if anyone noticed. what does he not want to be seen with the new kid?  I decided that I wasn't going to find the office by myself so I worked up the courage to ask him.

"Hey Craig could you help me out please," I asked in my best pleading voice.

"depends on what," he asked not changing his same facial expression.

"could your please help me find the office and then I'll leave you alone," I asked making it sound good for him if he helps me out.

"ugh fine follow me" he moves his arm to signal for me to follow him. soon we reached a door that read 'Office'
