When I look into his eyes
I walk in both worlds-
A kaleidoscope of fractured dreams
Infinite possibilities scraping stellar skies,
Time stole, broke and built.

The wisp of his smile
Enchanting, beautifully blinding,
Like scattered moon glints
On the sea waves, ricocheting,
Beyond receding hills.

Sunset slowly setting
Burning a million wishes away,
Baring these fleeting moments,
My reality, in somber shades-
Our metamorphic portrait.

Perhaps recreating him, creates me
Filling the cracks, painting on scars,
With stained fingers, holding onto my heart
Time after time, over and over, but still,
Somehow, I keep breaking apart.
