The two of us pulled into Annalise's driveway, bags packed and ready for the trip.

I excitedly turned to Vincent, grappling at his hand. "Lets gooo, I'm so excited!"

He rolled his eyes at my childish outburst, grinning. "Alright there, happy camper, keep that excitement for when we get there!"

Rapidly, the two of us grabbed our stuff from the back seat and walked over to Annalise's massive front door.

Anxious, I poked him in the side. "Ring the doorbell, V!"

"You're such a child, Ivy!" he teased, holding me closer as he rang the doorbell, warmth from his body heat radiating heavily off him.

After a minute or so of waiting, the beautiful blonde finally answered the door, inviting us in.

"You guys hungry?" Annalise asked, ushering us to a food-filled table of delicious-smelling pastries and finger foods.

Zoe, Caroline, Jessy, Bella, and Mia were closest to the food, talking and laughing, while Masen, Lucas, Dylan, AJ, and Isaac were sitting on a couch, yelling and cheering at the sports game on the TV.

This trip is going to be amazing; I can feel it!

"Alright, ya'll, you ready to hit the road?" I queried, sliding into the passenger seat of Vincent's car.

I made a mental checklist, quickly scanning the vehicle for everyone. Vincent was in the driver's seat, and Masen, Mia, and Zoe were all tightly smooshed together in the back seat.

"Okay, so who wants to drive after Vincent?" Zoe asked, weariness evident in her voice as she collapsed further into her seat.

"I'll do it, I guess," Masen announced, leaning forward. "As long as Ivy moves her seat forwards more!"

"Oh shit, sorry, Masen!" I lazily pulled at the latch under the seat to move the chair forward, giving my six-foot-two friend some legroom.

I sat quietly in my chair, letting happiness sink deep into my chest as I internally exploded with excitement.

After hours of driving and still multiple to go, I felt myself slowly creeping toward the inevitability of insanity.

Absolutely bored out of my mind, I blurted out to no one in general, "Can we do something? I don't wanna watch Youtube anymore!"

"Truth or dare?" Masen suggested, leaning his elbows on his knees.

"Screw it, I'm bored as hell too!" Zoe cried in return.

"I'll start!" Mia proclaimed with a sudden burst of urgency.

The red-haired girl uncomfortably shifted in her seat. "Okay, so, Zoe, truth or dare?"

"Uhhhh, truth!" She responded with matched urgency.

"Hmm...do you like anyone?" Mia lightly pressed, curiosity lingering in her question.

Zoe's expression quickly changed, her cheeks becoming flush. "Well, umm, yes, but no--I-I don't know, it's complicated."

Mia lightly laughed under her breath. "What's so complicated, Zo?" She shifted her position to face Zoe with her inquisitive brown eyes.

"Well, I like this guy in my bio class, but I also--uh, well--wanna hook up with this really hot chick in my calc class." Zoe noisily sighed, slightly frustrated.

"Well, shit Zo, I didn't know you liked girls!" Masen remarked almost snarkily.

The mocha-haired boy casually slumped in his seat with a foolish grin spread across his pink lips; his bright white graphic tee scrunched up at his waistline.
