Chapter Twelve (Thorins POV)

"Come along all of you."

The company and I travelled higher into the peaks of the mountain, my arm wrapped around Bilbos waist, protecting him from an un known danger. "That's a little tight Thorin."
"Oh I'm sorry."
"Don't worry."

We reached the mountain side. And bilbo began to shake. I hid my fear with a stern expression, yet I knew that there was a chance the love of my life might not be coming back to me. But, there was also another thought that I thought never to come to my mind,'Who cares if he comes back?' I shook my head, knowing damn good and well that the thought was from my inherited greed.

"IT'S NOT HERE!" I shouted in rage and began to walk down the mountain. I almost turned the curf of the steep mountain pass when Bilbo's voice reached my ears,"I found it! I found it!" I came rushing back when I saw the key bouncing toward the edge. I picked up speed and put my foot down on it as it almost fell toward the chasm below,"gotcha." Bilbo blushed and retrieved the key from under my foot. He went to the wall, which plain to me, and stuck the key into the apparent key hole.
