I walked down the mountain, the guilt heavy on my shoulders, and began to sob. What? Bilbo crying? Yea, well I am just a hobbit. Sometimes I need to cry, especially when a dragon was destroying a village, thanks to you. The one you loved used you for his own greed, it was hard not to cry. "Bilbo wait!"

"Leave me alone, Thorin!"

A hand spun me around I face who ever was trying to stop me now, it was Kili. "Look, I'm sorry about my ass of an uncle, but you must understand, even if Thorin doesn't need you, we need you. The company needs you."

"No you don't, I'm taking Thorins advice and going back to the shire."

"Please, I'm begging you. You are more important than you think you are."

"How?! Look, I'm tired of the depression and guilt and all this pain from what goes on during this quest. I would rather die in the shire, not knowing why I deserved to die, than rather die knowing what I know now."

"Just come back. You will help us save Middle Earth and all it's inhabitants. Come back with me, you don't have to pay any attention to my uncle. Hell, do you think we do?"

He chuckled, and I couldn't help but chuckle along with him. Maybe I should go back... My grin quickly faded as I pondered over the thought. Kili noticed and pulled me into a hug,"we need you Auntie Bilbo." I chuckled hardly and hugged the other back. "I will go back if you need me that bad." Kili was about to speak, when a great voice rumbled down the path,"I hope he never comes back!" Well, that moment didn't last long. I pulled from his grip, and began my journey once more. I heard the running feet of Kili, then before I could even breathe, he threw me over his shoulder,"I don't care what that uncle of mine says, the company needs you. I need you."

I sighed loudly, I guess I didn't have a choice in this.
