Thorin was definitely acting strange. He drifted off most of the time, and the conversation we had the night before still runs through my mind. I hope he doesn't think I will leave him because he's a dwarf. I may be a baggins, but I really love Thorin. So,the risks are worth taking. I awoke the next day,and saw Thorin sleeping soundly, with the occasional snore. I tried to slip from his grip, but his arms tightened around me.
'I guess this is round two.'
I thought back to yesterday morning, and the night before. I finally managed to pull from his grip, and stand. "You sure have a grip Thorin."
"I don't want something taking you from me."
I jumped as he stirred on the ground, and looked at me with those big sad eyes,"I don't think anything will take me from you in the middle of the night."
"An Orkan. A troll. Many things my dear bilbo will take you in the night from me."
"Well,I don't think it will be anytime soon."
I leaned down,an kissed him on the cheek,"Now,come along Thorin. We have dwarfs to wake up."
He groaned, and rolled to where his back faced away from me. I sighed, and walked off to wake the rest of the company. Soon,we were all awake, had eaten, and were walking through the woods lining the elvin territory. I couldn't help but start to fiddle with the ring in my front pocket,as if it might grow legs and walk away.
"What are you messing with?"
"Nothing Thorin. Just putting my hands in my pockets."
I shoved both of my hands into my waist coat pocket, and smiled. He eyed me supisiouly, and walked ahead. I breathed a sigh of relief, and took one of my hands out of my pocket, but left the other one on the ring. It felt as if it would burn a hole in my pocket at times, but I couldn't bare to part with it.
