"Amusez-vous pendant votre voyage et assurez-vous que vous saluez tous Fleur et William pour moi. (Have fun on your trip and make sure all of you say hello to Fleur and William for me). My mother smiles at me, Angeline and Jacques as the three of us prepare to board our flight to London where we will be meeting my younger sister Fleur and her boyfriend William.

Angeline and Jacques are coming along with me because they miss Fleur and they have a cousin who lives in Wales who they haven't visited in a while so they will be going there for a while as well. The cousin is the daughter of their mother's brother who has grown up in the UK, considering Mrs Beaumont is English unlike Mr Picard (Jacques' father and her ex husband) and Mr Beaumont (Angeline's father and her current husband) who are both French.

My mother has tears rolling down her face as she bids us goodbye and I have to restrain myself from rolling my eyes at her dramatics. I exchange an understanding look with my younger sister Gabrielle as she subtly lets out a scoff at our mother and I let out a small laugh at her antics.

I sigh in disappointment as I pull the ten year old into a tight hug as I whisper half-jokingly into her ear to look after our parents while I'm in England with Fleur. She lets out a light giggle at this, obviously entertained by my words as our parents, Angel and Jacques look at us in confusion. This, of course, makes Gabrielle laugh even harder and her laughter appears to be contagious as I join in after a moment.

"Maman, tu n'as pas à t'inquiéter, tout ira bien. (Mum you don't have to worry, we will be fine.)" I smile at my mother as I have grown used to her worrying about each of us over the years, despite Fleur now being of age and my having just reached twenty seven recently.

"Oui Madame Delacour, je suis sûr que Fleur et William seront tous les deux hospitaliers pendant notre séjour avec eux. (Yes Mrs Delacour, I am sure that Fleur and William will both be hospitable during our stay with them.)" Angel, obviously sensing my motive of reassuring my mother, joins in and does her best with the limited knowledge of Fleur's elusive new boyfriend that she provided us with.

"Je ne peux pas m'empêcher de m'inquiéter pour mes enfants, peu importe combien tu grandis et je suis sûr que Mme Beaumont ressent la même chose pour vous, Angeline et Jacques. (I can't help but worry about my kids no matter how much you grow up and I am sure that Mrs Beaumont feels the same way about you, Angeline and Jacques.)" My mother is very good friends with Angeline and Jacques' mother as they met when Mrs Beaumont first arrived in France as a teenager around thirty years ago, a few years before she met Mr Picard and Jacques was born.

I look to my father and notice that he is smiling fondly at my mother and I can't help but let out a small smile at this. My sisters and I are each very different people so we do often clash over our opinions and beliefs but one thing that all of us have always agreed on is that we each wish to one day find a love that is as powerful as our parents' has been.

I get lost in my thoughts about one day finding a love as true as theirs often so it is not an uncommon occurrence for Angel to snap me out of it. This time she appears to be rather urgent though and it takes me a minute to realise that we are in the airport in the middle of muggle Paris and she is telling me to hurry before we miss our flight to London.

We leave my parents and Gabrielle with hurried goodbyes and even quicker hugs, making a slight feeling of guilt form in my mind as I will surely miss my family dearly - especially my little sister - and I do not know when I will be able to see them again.

"Vous pourrez leur écrire quand nous atterrirons mais maintenant vous devez vous dépêcher ou nous raterons notre avion. (You will be able to write to them when we land but now you must hurry up or we will miss our plane.)" Jacques knows me better than anyone as we have been dear friends since before either of us could walk or talk and I have always been a little closer with him than with Angel, which is most likely due to the fact that I am closer to him in age as he is twenty eight and she is twenty two, which is why he probably knows exactly what thoughts were running through my mind as well as exactly how to calm them.

I laugh at my predictability as the three of us practically run through the airport, avoiding crowds of overexcited tourists as well as the typical stressed out commuters who are scattered throughout the terminal.

We arrive at the gate just as the last passenger walks towards the plane and I almost scream in excitement that we managed to make it in time as the flight attendant directs me and Angel to the back of the plane and Jacques to the front. Angeline cannot contain her laughter at the disappointment on her older brother's face so I am almost certain that this was her doing given that the two of us allowed her to book our tickets and arrange everything.

"Était-ce votre fait? (Was that your doing?)" I already know what the answer will be even before I ask the question but I know Angeline Beaumont and I know that her face will be far too entertaining to me to pass up this opportunity.

"Peut-être, mais s'il vous plaît ne lui dites pas. (Maybe but please don't tell him.)" The small girl has a smirk on her face, an expression which would be less laughable on quite literally anyone other than herself.

"Il n'est pas si effrayant. (He isn't that scary.)" I am silenced when I see the harsh glare coming from the petite girl and I realise that I should probably just agree with her as that will have the best outcome for me. "D'accord, ton secret est en sécurité avec moi. (Okay, your secret is safe with me.)"

A/N: WOOOOOOOO!!! I can't believe this is finally finished and published after so long. I'm loving the direction that this has taken already and I'm excited to continue it as I have a lot of big plans for where it is going to go in the future.

I am studying French at GCSE and I think I'm okay at it but I am also doubting myself so any French that I include in this story will be from Google Translate. Feel free to correct me (politely please) if I write anything wrong and I will make sure to change it.
