Part 15

"Hey Deku, what's up?" I asked as I picked up the phone "Shinsou... I-it's your parents.... They got in a car accident.." my eyes widened "They- What?!" "They were in a car accident... A-Aizawa is in the hospital..." I felt a tear roll down my cheek as I heard the news, without another thought I got my jacket "I'm on my way, what hospital?!" I went into my bedroom where Denki was watching tv "What's wrong?!.. Hitoshi why are you crying?" He asked when he saw me "My dad's in the hospital, I'll be back later" I told him before going back to the livingroom "Toshi, I'll be right back just stay here, Fran... you're a cat" I sprinted out of the house into the car "yeah, I'll be right there" My dad had been in the hospital before and had almost died multiple times but I was still concerned.

"Si- Sir! You can't go in here yet the patient is still unstab-" I opened the door and saw my dad with tubes sticking out of his arms and again covered in bandages "Shinsou... We can't go in here yet.. C'mon, let's just see him through the window.." Mic said from behind me "Bu- dad..." I couldn't talk, I'd never seen him like this "Big.. Brother?.." Eri said from behind me, I hadn't seen her in a while and she had grown much taller "Hey.. Eri.. Dad, what happened, how the fuck did you get into a fucking car accident?!" I didn't know why I was so mad but I felt like wanting to scream ".. Calm down first, I'll tell you what happened" I nodded and wiped my eyes "... We were just driving home and... He got a call from UA.. I'm not sure what happened but he was really mad.. We turned the corner and.. Shota was so mad he was kicking the pedals... we were going too hard and.. we just slipped." I nodded and hugged him, I don't know why I didn't start with that "I'm sorry for yelling.. I'm just worried about dad" He hugged me back and I felt my phone buzz again "Just.. A moment, I have to take this.." I picked up the phone, it was Denki "Hey.. Kitten.." He started rambling about being worried about me "Kitten, hey, hey! Calm. Down. Breath" He did as I told him and after some time of silence he asked: "Is.. Is Aizawa.. Is he ok?" "He is... I hope.." I felt another tear roll down my face "Even Toshi noticed something was wrong.. so I explained to him what happened, he also wants to talk with you" I wiped away the tears as I heard his voice "A-are you ok?... You looked really sad... Don't be sad please.." I looked at Mic and Eri who were both still crying, I had to stay strong, for them "I'm alright Kiddo, don't worry about me... I'll be home soon.." I said before hanging up. "Dad, I have to get home or Denki will get even more worried, I'll be back tomorrow, call if anything happens" Mic nodded and I left the hospital. When I came outside the only thing I saw were reporters "Pro-Hero Mind Break, is there a clear update on Eraser Head's condition?!" I just walked away ignoring all questions and went to my car.

"I'm back!!" I said as the front door closed behind me "God, is Aizawa ok? How are Mic and Eri? Are they hurt?" Denki said while running into my arms "Wow, calm down, Mic and Eri are fine... Aizawa.. They say he's still unstable but they're doing as much as they can.." I quickly wiped my eyes "I hope he's ok..." I nodded and Toshi also came into the hallway "A-are you ok? Please don't be sad..." I smiled a bit and crouched down "I'm alright, I already told you that, it's 2AM though, shouldn't you be in bed?" His eyes widened "Maybe... Good night!" He ran into his room, I laughed despite what had happened "I'm gonna call off the mission, I have to be here if anything happens.. For Mic's sake..." Denki nodded and I got out my phone "Hey.. Deku.. I'm calling you to say I... I can't do the mission, I'm sorry... But I have to be here for my family now.." Deku reassured me saying he fully understood it and that they wouldn't force me "Thanks.. I have to go now, Denki is waiting for me" I hung up and went to the bedroom where as expected Denki was waiting for me, I really needed a little fun after all that. "I'm all yours~" He said, that was in fact also one of the last things he said that night... Except for begging of course.

"Hey, how is my dad doing?" I asked when the hospital finally answered the phone "You should come see it for yourself" That couldn't mean much good "Hitoshi, what's up?" Denki asked as he walked into the living room. "I'm gonna check on Aizawa in the hospital" Denki nodded and put on his coat "What are you doing?" Denki walked towards me and kissed me "Don't think you're doing this alone, I took free from work so I could come with you" I couldn't help but smile a bit "Thanks Kitten" I ran my hand through his hair "I'm also coming!" Toshi said from behind me and I felt my heart melt in my stomach again "Thanks Toshi, but I-" "No! I'm coming!" Denki nodded and picked him up "Ok, you can come too" He told him "alright then, let's go" We walked out and got in the car. "I hope Aizawa is doing ok..." Denki murmured "When I saw him yesterday he didn't look so good... He was covered in bandages.." He put his hand on my leg "Don't worry so much baby.." I groaned "I can't help it..." It was silent the rest of the drive.
"Dad, how is he?" I asked, I looked through the window and saw multiple doctors surrounding the bed "Not good..." Mic answered, Denki squeezed my hand reassuringly "And who's the little boy?" Mic said when he saw Toshi, he was mostly hiding behing my legs but kind of peeked to look around the room "This is Toshi, he lives with us since yesterday" I said managing a smile. "Nice to meet you Toshi" Mic smiled at him and he quickly hid behind my legs again. "Toshi, this is my dad" I told him, I crouched down "H-he looks scary..." Toshi whispered in my ear. I couldn't help but laugh a bit, he wasn't gonna like Aizawa. "He's really nice, ok?" He nodded and looked over my shoulder at Mic "How is his hair standing up like that?" He asked softly "I have no idea" I answered just a quietly. Toshi smiled and hugged me "Where's Eri?" I asked when I got up again "She's asleep... She didn't know what was going on and why we were so sad.." I nodded and looked through the window again "Shinsou, why don't we sit down.." Mic said, I nodded and we sat down. Toshi also wanted to sit down but all the chairs were gone "Where can I sit?..." he asked hesitantly, I picked him up and put him down on my lap. "That's not what I meant... but.. thank you.." He murmured, I smiled and looked at Mic again "They're doing everything to fix him up but... The doctor says he.. might not make it.." I felt my heart sink down to my feet. Denki took my hand again "What's going on?..." Toshi asked, I could hear him hesitating to ask the question. "You see that man, in the room behind us?" he nodded "That's my other dad... Him and this dad got in a car accident.." I told him, he looked at me "He's asleep now.. but we're not sure if he'll wake up again.." That's the last thing I could say before my voice broke. Denki rubbed his thumb over the top of my hand "I'm sure he will..."
