Chapter 12 ~ Reunited at Last

~Kion's PoV~
   Why was Janja insisting that I come with the others? I'm still heartbroken at Fuli's dissapearence, can't they see that?!

   I pad semi-angrily behind everyone else. Janja had found us at the watering hole. So now, Janja was leading Ono, who's still single; Beshte; his girlfriend, Maji; Bunga; Binga; Anga; Mseto; Kiara; Kovu; Daktari, Rafiki's new apprentice since Makini stayed as Rani's Royal Majuzi; and Vitani to his home.

   "Well, here we are." Janja said, a second before he was engulfed in hyena pups.

   "Lion Guard, good, you're here. Come, I have someone to show you, but it might be a bit of a shock." Jasiri said, belonging us to a cave nearby. The others entered with gasps of shock and soon Kiara comes out.

   "Kion, you might wanna come in here." She said. I sighed and padded in. When I did however, I shoved past everyone to get to her side.

   My lovely Fuli was passed out on a lichen-filled nest. She had a bite in one ear, a clawed-up shoulder, and blood still trickling out of an ugly wound on her belly. I noticed how faded her mark was and placed my paw on it. A small glow came from underneath my paw and I removed it, showing her mark was a vivid as before. I then licked her head and turned to Jasiri.

   "Who did this?" I growled lowly and everyone flinched at my protective tone.

   "I did." A smug new voice said, and we all turned to see a muddy-brown lion with a black mane that sported blood-red streaks. "And now, I've come to finish the job.

   When I heard this, a familiar power began building inside me. I narrowed my eyes; to the others it would look like rage, but in reality, it was concentration so I wouldn't lose control of it. Seeing the signs, my friends backed up till they were behind me, out of the crossfire.

   I inhaled then, unleashed the Roar of the Elders for the first time since I lost Fuli. Eyes still blazing with power I turned finally noticed that we weren't alone in the cave.

   "Woah..." A voice said. "Fuli and Chullun told us about the Roar but they did not do it justice. I'm Pretinha. I accompanied Fuli on her way back home. Along with the rest of us."

   "Hey, Lion Guard. I was also taken, just like Fuli was. I told her that if we escaped I'd join her and try out her Circle of Life way of living. It's alot better than how I used to live, I'll tell you that." Chullun told us. I nodded to her, accepting her hidden apology.

   "I'm Imani, I helped bust them out of the clutches of my former pride, the lions you just Roared away. My name is Imani." The mahogany-colored lioness said.

   "I'm Winga!" A pretty egret said and with once glance at Ono, I could tell was positively smitten by her. Just then, with a sudden cry of pure joy Vitani lunged fowards.

   "Kopa!"

   "Vitani? You've... You've grown so much. Your even prettier than when we were cubs." The male said.

   "Kopa..." Vitani purred, crying. "I... I thought... I thought Mother killed you..."

   "Nope... Her mistake was leaving me to die." Kopa purred back.

   "I'm confused." I said looking at them.

   "Kion, this is Kopa. The only male I have eyes for. And... you two might not believe me but, he's also your older brother."

   "What?!" Kiara and I said at the same time.
