~Fuli's PoV~
To say the least, I was a nervous wreck. And I wasn't the only one. The Night Pride had come to visit once they heard that I had made a safe return home. It was love at first sight for Baliyo and Imani; and Vitani and Kopa's union was loooooong overdue.

"What if... what if he backs out on me?" Imani rambles. "What if he makes this into a joke or he doesnt want have cubs later on? What if~"

"Imani!!" Vitani and I snap. "Shwari. He loves you very much." My gaze turns sad. "Still can't believe after this you and Pretinha are leaving for the Tree of Life."

"I know... But don't worry, now that we know about that shortcut, its only a three weeks trip away instead of a three months trip away." She said. "Besides, Pretinha's super eager to meet another of her kind, especially since its a boy."

"Well ladies," Kiara said, "Its time." We all took a deep breath and padded behind the Heiress. Kopa had said that he had no interest in inheriting the throne and since Kiara already had had most of the lessons, then it was only fair she continue being next-in-line for the throne.

We walked through the crowd at the base of Pride Rock and up the path to where the boys were waiting. When we saw them we smiled and I giggled internally. Looks like Kion got the full washdown from his mother for his wedding. His cherry-red mane blazed in the bright sun, and his tawny gold pelt gleamed. We walked up to them and stopped inches in front of the apes we would spend the rest of our lives with.

Simba began speaking and I only half listened to the others as they did their vows, getting lost in Kion's amber eyes.

"Kion, do you promise to love, protect and cherish Fuli, through rainy times and drought, sickness and health, happiness and grief, until death does you part?" Simba asked.

   "I do, Dad." Kion said.

"And Fuli, do you promise to love, protect and cherish Kion, through rainy times and drought, sickness and health, happiness and grief, until death does you part?" Simba asked me.

"I do." I answer, my heart bursting with glee.

"Then I pronounce these three couples wed!" Simba roared. "You may now nuzzle."

Kion and I pressed our muzzles and heads together as Rafiki shook his gourds above us, Daktari shook his above Vitani and Kopa and Makini shook hers above Baliyo and Imani.

"Promise you'll never leave my side again?" Kion whispered to me as the entire Pridelands cheered our names.

"I promise, my Prince. I have returned to you, and I'll never leave your side, even after death. After all, you have the Roar. You could just talk to me like you would talk to Mufasa." I whisper into his mane.
