June 2nd...

7:30 p.m - Everything was going right.

Rebecca and Jace had come out of her room hours ago and joined the family. Henderson asked the young girl what she had planned to do and other things just so he could get to know her.

The doorbell rang and Jace quickly got up, thinking that it was the pizza guy. But he was wrong.

Standing at the door, in tight skinny jeans and a tight black v-neck was Diana. Her hair flawless as if she had walked right out of the salon.

"Jace, baby. I'm so sorry ab-," she began but was interrupted by Jace.

"Don't baby me. You lied and cheated on me..." he said, looking down at the doe eyes of hers. He wasn't going to fall for that again.

"Jace, please. Let me explain," she pleaded, she didn't want to lose Jace. She loved him but with him across the country, she had needs and Finn just so happened to be there.

Not wanting to hear anymore of her, he slammed the door in her face and stomped back to the living room.

"Hey, you alright?" Rebecca asked, worried about her friend. He was about to answer when the doorbell rang again.

Henderson got up and answered, letting in the blonde without hesitation.

"Jace, look who's here!" his father said, not knowing what she had done.

Rebecca looked up at the blonde and instantly felt as if she was the ugliest thing that ever walked the planet. The girl was beautiful.

"Who is the girl?" Diana asked, her nose flaring in disgust. "Already move on from me?"

"Like you did with Finn?"

Tension in the room was so thick.

Freshmen year, the first year of high school. Excited because he had not only become the quarterback for the football team, but his best friend was his wide receiver.

Walking into the school, he saw, who he thought, was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. Her blonde hair in a high ponytail, a pink skater skirt that was scattered with white daisies gave him a great view of her legs.

"Hey, I'm Jace. What's your name?" He asked, his voice full of confidence.

The blonde smiled. "Diana. It's nice to meet you Jace."

From there the relationship was in full swing. Everyone wanted to be them. everyone wanted their relationship.

But the one thing that Jace didn't know, was that his best friend had wanted Diana since he first saw her.

At Jace's college graduation, he didn't see his girlfriend or his best friend, but he thought nothing of it.

The night that he caught them was the night that he vowed that he wouldn't let the girl that he had planned his entire life around, break his heart again. He wouldn't let the two that he trusted with his deepest secrets, get back into his life.

7:45 p.m - Diana looked at Jace with guilt, Alexander with hidden anger towards the blonde that caused his big brother pain and Henderson, well, let's just say that he was going to be having a talk with her parents.

Thinking that she could simply shake it off, Diana began laughing nervously. "I don't know what you're talking about," she said.

Rebecca looked at Jace and then took his hand, causing everyone to look at the gesture.
