Two months later...
8:30 a.m. - Walking into the kitchen of his home, he was met by the sounds of the girl who had changed his life for the worse, yet again. The past two months had been hard.
Not wanting to truly feel alone, he and Diana began seeing each other again. They only went on small dates and she slept over at his house but other than that, they didn't have sex, kiss as much as she wanted and they didn't say 'I love you.'... well, Jace didn't. His father was so disappointed that he told Jace to get out, not wanting to have, in his words, a cheating skank like Diana in his house.
Alexander was released from the hospital but he refused to even look at his older brother with anything but hatered and disgust. Evan had everyone change their numbers and changed the locks on the doors so that Jace would truly understand that he wasn't welcome.
"Good morning, baby." Diana purred, attempting to be seductive but it all washed away when she saw his face cloud with anger.
"When do you leave?" He asked, not caring that his voice was hard. She sighed and looked down at her cup of coffee.
"At 9:30." She said sadly. She didn't want to leave, knowing that not only would he not come with her but he wouldn't follow after. "Are you sure that you're not going to change your mind?" She asked softly.
"I love her Diana." Was all Jace said before going upstairs to shower and get ready to go clear his head.
She moaned his name breathlessly, her back arched and tightened around him bringing him to his end.
Peppering her face with kisses, giggles soon filled the room.
"Jace!" She giggled. Rebecca and Jace had been in a hotel room that he had bought as a celebration for her acceptance and it was filled with love and laughter.
"I love you, Rebecca. And I'm in love with you. Don't ever doubt that." He told her, looking her in the eyes with an emotion that the brunette had grown to love seeing every day.
"I love you too, Jace. More and more every day."
9:30 a.m. - He watched as Diana piled her things into Tanya's car. She looked back at him and smiled just a little.
"I'm sorry that came between you and Rebecca. I now see that you love her more than you ever loved me and I'm ok with that. Go find her and make this right JT." She told him, hugging him tightly.
He hugged her back, knowing that she was right.
"You're gonna find someone that loves you the way I love her Diana. Believe me."
She got into the car and drove towards the airport and in that moment, Jace got into his car and began to drive to the place where it all started.
To: Rebecca
I know that you probably hate me and won't come but please meet me at the cliff. I want to explain myself to you. I would love to see you again, if that's OK.
He texted as he drove on the freeway. He smiled, just a little thinking about the first time that he had met the brunette. Though it wasn't in the best circumstances, she had changed his life. Turned it completely upside down in the best way.
As he drove, his phone buzzed with a message from Diana.
From: Diana
Good luck JT. My flight is leaving in about thirty minutes so I'll text you soon.
