10:00 a.m - He loves me?

That was what she asked herself as she stared into the eyes of the handsome young man standing in front of her.

She couldn't deny the butterflies that she got whenever she saw his face. She couldn't deny the smiles that creeped on her face whenever he smiled at her.

There were so many things...and she couldn't find one reason that says other wise.

"If you can't say it right now, that's honestly fine. but I just want you to know that I love you so much. I love the way that you overthink things because then you get this frustrated look on your face. I love how my family, the people that mean the most to me, love you for you and don't have to fake it," he said, shocking his father. "I love how I can be myself around you, how you make me feel so comfortable."

Just as she was about to respond, the sound of the door closing snapped her out of her thoughts.

Walking into the kitchen was the blonde that broke Jace's heart. The one that had heard everything that Jace had said to Rebecca, but no one else knew.

"I came to give the key that Jace gave me..." she said, looking sadly at Jace, expecting him to fall right at her feet, like she had planned.

Jace's hard expression melted. He didn't being mean to anyone. Even if he did him wrong. Though, he hasn't forgiven her, Rebecca knew that he couldn't be rude to her.

"Thanks," he mumbled, taking the key from her hand, his fingers brushing alongside her palm. She gasped, feeling the butterflies. He felt nothing.

"Do you think that we can...talk? About everything that happened?" Diana asked quickly, knowing that was losing him if she didn't try something.

He nodded, "be right back Becks." He whispered, kissing her temple before walking with Diana. The blonde scowled at the action and glared at the back of his head as they went to the game room.

10:15 a.m - It had been fifteen minutes since Diana and Jace went to talk and it was beginning to worry both Rebecca and Henderson.

"How about I go see what's taking them so long?" Henderson suggested, hoping that his son wasn't doing anything stupid.

Rebecca nodded. "I'll come with," she whispered, nervous about the same thing. Walking to the game room, they didn't expect to see Diana forcing herself onto jace, who looked angry and uncomfortable.

"Jace, I love you. More than anything, more than that girl ever will! Just love me back!" The blonde exclaimed, sad and disappointed that when she moved in, he moved back, not wanting her.

Henderson cleared his throat just as her lips were about to touch his son's. Both of their heads snapped toward the two standing in the doorway.

"Diana, i think that you need to leave." The older man, his voice hard and filled with subtle anger but also leaving no room for argument.

Quickly she got up and went to the door. Standing in front of the brunette, the blonde looked her up and down with disgust, not knowing that it was filling Rebecca with rage.

"You will never love him like I do, do the things that I could for him because you don't know him the way that I do. I will get him back and you will be nothing but a memory... a really ugly and disgusting memory."

Just as she was about to leave, Rebecca grabbed the girl's arm, making sure that they were staring each other in the eye.

"Understand something bitch," the brunette began, causing Henderson and Jace to stand there in shock. "You were the one that decided she couldn't keep her legs closed. You were that decided to break the heart of someone so amazing. I don't know him like you do, but I know one thing is for sure. I love him. It might scare me, but I'm not going to go out and sleep with his best friend." She said.

She loved Jace. Seeing Diana act like she was the best thing ever to happen and then having the girl look at her with such disgust, it angered her but it also showed that she loved Jace.

"Diana, leave." Jace said. The blonde looked at him in shock and soon her green eyes were filled with rage.

"You are picking HER over ME? She is nothing. She will never be anything!" She shouted in Jace's face. He grew angry at the insults.

"She is EVERYTHING to me. That's all she needs to be." He sneered in her face.

10:30 a.m - After admitting that she loved jace, she went to the park, wanting to get some space.

The spring breeze was still in the air, though it was almost summer.

She looked up at the sky, the clouds slowly moving with the earth, thinking about the time that her mother told her the one thing that had kept her going.

Rebecca had come home from school, it had been about a month since Franklin had committed suicide and the brunette was lost.

Bit she pulled through. She made an effort to smile whenever her parents and her little sister were around.

"Becca, can i talk to you for a second?" Her mother had asked. Sitting in the chair right next to the middle-aged woman, Rebecca looked into the eyes of her mother.

"What's up?" The girl asked, smiling fakely.

"Just listen to me. You are so amazing, beautiful, and so strong after everything happened. Franklin would be so proud of you. I know that you fake smiles and all the happiness and to that don't know your situation, you are happy. I admire you for being so strong. And I'm so proud to be your mother." Her mother said, a few tears escaping her eyes.

The young girl swallowed the lump in her throat before wrapping her arms around her.

A hand on her shoulder caused her to jump slightly. Looking up, she saw Jace.

In his hand was a bouquet of her favorite flowers, tulips and lillies, in the other hand was a drink from starbucks.

Smiling widely at the cheesy yet sweet gesture, she patted the spot next to her.

"My dad told me that he thought you were a tulip and lily kind of girl...the starbucks, I asked the girl behind what a girl who was sad would like and she made me this for free." The young man said nervously.

Taking the drink, she sipped it before quickly falling in love with it.

"She said it was an iced caramel macchiato with coconut milk and..."

Before Jace could finish, Rebecca attached her lips to his. Sparks flew as the two kissed.

After a small second, she pulled away and whispered an 'I love you' before drinking her drink.

Love was something that she hadn't felt in a while, so it was scary. But for the first time in forever, she was excited about changes coming into her life.
