June 3rd

6:00 a.m. - The nightmare consumed her. She didn't know what to do. Shooting up out of her bed, she breathed in deeply before closing her eyes and allowing the tears to fall as she thought about the nightmare coming true.

After she and Jace got back, they both said their goodnight and went to bed, both of them not finding sleep until four in the morning.

The brunette wiped her eyes, sighing heavily as she realizes that the nightmares probably weren't going anywhere.

Getting up, she walked to the bay window and looked at the small sight of the sun that was beginning to rise.

"Becks, can I come in?" Jace's voice rang through her ears. She nodded, not taking her eyes off the sun. Closing the door behind him, Jace walked into his new friend's room and sat down across from her. "You alright?"

She shook her head. Not liking that she was going to feel weak.

"Nightmares." Was the only thing that she said. He nodded and silently cursed the piece of shit uncle of hers and for that driver that took her family away.

Rebecca walked through the graveyard that held her family, the moon shining bright, illuminating the way to their tombstones.

Once there, she sat down by her sister's and sighed.

"I'm so sorry." She whispered. Suddenly, there was a hand on her shoulder, pulling her back roughly.

"This is your fault you stupid bitch!" Her uncle shouted. The brunette repeated over and over 'I'm sorry.' But the man didn't care, he had lost everything.

His big brother.

His sister-in-law

His young niece.

Not thinking about how this made Rebecca feel, just being selfish and thinking about himself.

"Please stop," she said between the blows of his foot to her abdomen and his fists to her face.

"NO! You took them away! And that boy is never going to love you!" He said, smiling darkly at her. She looked at him, not wanting him to continue. "Once he finds out how worthless, stupid and broken you really are, he will leave you." He cackled, punching her once more.

"No he won't." She said, looking down at the ground.

"You think he could love you?! He loves that perfect thing he left behind to go to college. He was going to marry her! Look at them now!" He shouted at her. She shook her head, causing the older man to get angry and turn her head towards a couple that was walking through the park, hand in hand.

It was Jace and Diana. They were happy, smiling and laughing with each other. As Diana talked, Jace looked at her with such love and devotion.

Observing them more, she saw the wedding bands on their fingers and the growing belly of the blonde's, meaning that she was carrying the handsome green-grey eyed boy's baby.

Tears filled Rebecca's eyes. She wanted them to be together, she wanted Jace.

But her uncle was right.

She was nothing.

She was broken.

She was worthless.

Her uncle took out a pistol, putting it to the back of the brunette's head.

"Goodbye Rebecca," he said before pulling the trigger.
