14 - Rebecca - 10:00 pm to 12:00 am

10:00 p.m. - Hours and hours after waiting, the youngest member was finally out of surgery. The doctor saying that the bullet had barely missed his artery and even though they had removed it, he was in critical condition.

Rebecca had gotten a cup of coffee from the cafeteria, the text message that she had received still on her mind.

Was it Diana?

Was it Finn?

She was utterly confused and scared out of her mind.

"Becks?" The familiar voice of her boyfriend snapped her out of her thoughts. She had some time to figure out what she wanted to do... whoever this person was knew her and Jace which meant that they might have a relationship with Jace of some type considering that the brunette didn't really have that many friends.

"Has he woken up yet?" She asked, not wanting him to ask about anything else. He looked into her eyes, knowing that there was something wrong but said nothing and shook his head.

Before he could even say anything, two familiar voices ran towards them, shouting his name.

Diana and Tanya had shown up to the hospital; the ex girlfriend wanting to comfort the family after hearing from her younger brother who also went to school with Alex and the mother of the youngest sibling had heard from Diana.

Rebecca scoffed and walked back up to the waiting room, away from the blonde that wrapped her arms around her boyfriend as if they were still friends.

What made her more confused and frustrated was that Jace hugged back and she smiled triumphantly at her as did his mother.

Are they friends again?

What the fuck was going on with them?

How dare she smile at me like that... like she's won something?

Sitting next to Henderson, he wrapped his arm around the girl that he looked at like a daughter, thankful that she had gotten that call and also that she hadn't gotten hurt.

After about five minutes, the three came upstairs, Diana with her arm around Jace, Tanya rubbing his back. Evan visibly tensed from seeing his mother and Henderson was fuming.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" Evan asked, his voice tight and hard as he stared at his brother with anger and the arm that was wrapped him by the blonde.

"We came as soon as we heard. We wanted to be here when he wakes up." Tanya said.

"You have two seconds to leave." Henderson said. The tone in his face shocked not only Tanya and Diana but everyone else. Rebecca sat up and moved from him while Evan and Jace looked at their father in shock and some fear.

"Hen-," his ex wife began but he interrupted her.

"He is mine. He is my son not yours. You gave up that right when you walked out of the door, Tanya." He began looking into her eyes with so much hatered that it caused her to shrink back. Turning his eyes to Diana, he stared at the arm that was around his second oldest son. "You have no right to be here. You are not apart of my family. You are taking advantage of him because of what he is going through, both you and I know that. So back off."

The blonde was in shock and then glared at the brunette that stood on the side.

"How is that piece of trash apart of the family and I'm not?! I fucked up! I get that but you allowed a stranger to take advantage of your hospitality and your son's heart and you tell me to back off?" She sneered, directing the words to Rebecca. "Did you know that we're thinking about trying again?! Did he tell you that? Wondering why he was so distant? I'm why!"
