Chapter 13 - For my First Brother

Chrollo's POV

Ren took off her leather jacket and threw it on the floor. More easier to move, smart move sis. Her upper back started to glow. The tattoo I placed there all those years ago started to come through. She moved her hair into a ponytail position and started to tie it into one.
The tattoo was still glowing and there something started to come out. It was a bunch of vines with thorns on them that were sprouting out of her back. Everyone watched wide eyed. I knew you would impress them and be very powerful. And I'm happy that my words had encouraged this.

Ren's POV

I felt something light, but warm on my back. I looked over to see the vines that I had pictured, but it was a lot more larger and stronger than I thought it'd be. I'm a larger target now.

"When did you get that?" Hisoka tried to hide the fear in his voice.

"Chrollo's words inspired it. I just had to simply imagine it and how it'll feel against someone else," I said like it was the easiest thing in the world, which really it was. "Also, I bet you guys have something you think you can defeat me with," I added. I made these vines with some help of my strings, but they just think it's actual vines.

"So... bring it on," I said, getting into a fighting position.

Hisoka threw his cards at me while Illumi was trying to come in for the attack. Two of the four vines that were coming out of my back came at Hisoka, while the other two stood by my side.
Illumi went to punch my jaw, but a vine blocked him, making his hand get cut by the thorns. I retracted the thorns because I had my strings tangled around them already. I then made them both slam into each other and they landed on their stomachs with a groan.

"Good distraction," Soka grunted as you put one foot on both of them, making them stay down.

"Thanks. Don't even think about trying to get up or complaining with how much I weigh, cause I'm just 114 lb." I said, still standing on both of them.

"So... the thorns were just a distraction?" Asked Feitan.

"Yes, Fei-Chan. But they weren't just a distraction, it was something to show that you can create something right on the spot as well as a new plan, best thing to know and do when you are an assassin," I said, looking back at Feitan, who had a pink tint on his cheeks. Too cute. I looked back over at the people I was standing on. "I'm surprised you guys didn't fully try and you were going 'easy' on me," I added.

"Can you get off?" Hisoka groaned.

"Oh shush! I don't weigh that much! You can probably pick me up with a finger!" I said, digging my foot into his back.

"Ow, ow, ow," he said, flinching.

"Do you both surrender and swear you won't pull something stupid like this again?" I asked.

"Yes," the both said simultaneously.

"Okay," I said in a happy and energetic voice and got off of them and released my strings. I walked away and back to Chrollo.

"How are you not tired from how much nen you just used?" He asked.

"I can go about 48 hours holding my nen, so it was nothing really hard," I said shrugging, but everyone that heard looked at me with shocked expressions. "Wha?" I asked all of them.

"How are you able to hold it for that long?" Nobunaga asked.

"Practice I guess. Possibly because I was out in some rough training. Plus Chrollo only put this tattoo on me to say that I'm a part of the spiders, but I'm not like an actual part. So, I guess you can say I'm an add on. I mentioned the tattoo because it also gives me courage as well as confidence. It also makes me feel... well me," I rambled. "Sorry, I'm rambling," I said, looking down at the ground.

"No, no, your fine. Don't worry, Ren," Chrollo reassured me. His hand landed on my head and started to pet me. I sure do love being pet. It makes me feel wanted and loved.

As if he could read my mind, Hisoka spoke up. "You really do like pets, don't ya~" he said.

"Yeah, why you ask?" I turned to him.

"Because it looked like you could kill someone a second ago, but while you were being pet, you looked happy," Lumi finished for him.

"Well. I guess you can say I enjoy it cause it makes me feel wanted and loved, so yeah. You get the point," I said, but pouted when Chrollo stopped. "Why'd you stop?" I turned back to him.

"Because I think someone else might want to pet you," he said, pointing to slightly red-tinted Feitan. I put on a warm smile that was also cute right at Feitan, causing him to turn a deeper tint of red. I walked over to him and sat down next to him. He hesitated to put his hand on my head.
"It's alright," I said giggling.

"O-okay," he said, placing his hand on my head. "Your hair is very soft," he said in his normal light voice.

"Thank you," I said, feeling some blood rush to my face.

"Who wants a beer?" Uvo asked.

"Me please," I said a bit sheepishly.

"Can I get one as well?" Feitan asked, still petting my hair. Some others also raised their hand. I looked over at Lumi and Soka and saw that their hand was up for a beer. They actually want to drink?
Uvo handed us all cans of beer. We all opened it and took a sip. But me on the other hand, just wanted to get absolutely shit faced. So I chugged it and got another.

~~6 cans later~~

"How *hic* can you stil- *hic still stand, Ren *hic*?" Lumi asked. I giggled.

"I don't *hic* really know," I said walking around, but moving from foot to foot at a quick speed.

"How about some music~?" Soka said, not even being affected by the alcohol.

"Yes yes yes yes yes," I said smiling and clapping my hands like a little kid. I glanced over at Feitan and saw that he was blushing while looking at me. "I have a couple of *hic* playlists. *hic* do you want me to *hic* play them*hic*?" I asked, searching for my phone.

"Sure," Chrollo said after a hiccup attack.

"Wait *hic* I think I left my-*hic* my phone in *hic* my bag *hic*," I said, sitting down on a pile of rubble. "I left in such a *hic* rush."

"Oh, it's alright dear~" Soka said, sitting up. Yes, he was still on the floor.

"Oh, look *hic* spider," Shalnark said and pointed to my shoulder. I slowly turned my head and was greeted by a big, black spider, just chilling on my shoulder. My eyes widened as my fears came crashing into me like a title wave.
"AHHHHHHHH *hic* GET IT OFF!!!" I fell off the piece of ruble I was sitting on and tried to push off the bug which I was seeing two of. Feitan quickly came over and killed the spider, while Uvo was crying from laughter, Lumi and Soka were chuckling, and everyone else was laughing.

"You're still *hic* deathly afraid of *hic* bugs?" Chrollo asked.

I looked him dead in the eyes. "Was is that *hic* fucking obvious??!"

Everyone started to laugh harder.

"God, I'm so fucking done with *hic* bugs. Like *hic* why the fuck do we *hic* need them? They only *hic* steal our food," I ranted, while everyone started to laugh harder. Bro is this that funny that I almost fucking died from that spider??

"I need some fresh *hic* air," I said, getting up and walking towards the door. But a muscular arm wrapped around my waist and pulled me to the floor. "Ack," slipped out from my lips. I landed on someone's chest. I looked over to see Soka. "Can I go?" I asked, struggling to get out of his grip.

"Only if you fight me~" he said, bopping me on the nose.

"Welp, looks like I'm*hic* staying here *hic* for the night," I said, giving up. "I guess *hic* goodnight everyone *hic*," I said as I made my head comfortable on Soka's chest and drifted off to sleep.
