Chapter 14 - The Prank

Ren's POV

   I woke up on someone's chest, but in a private room. I lifted my head to see who I slept on and it was Hisoka. Of course. I got up and my head started to pound. Fuck, I hate hangovers.
  I made my way down stairs into the main area and noticed that I was the first one up. Grease would be very nice right now. I heard faint footsteps coming towards the kitchen, which was where I was.
"Wow, I'm surprised you aren't still sleeping," Shalnark said.
"Yeah, I just have a pounding headache, but other than that, I'm fine," I said, biting into an apple.
"Oh, I heard that Boss and Paku left to get some greasy food for everyone," he said, getting two water bottles. "Want one?" I nodded and he threw it at me, which I caught it.
"Thank you," I said once I swallowed all the chunks of apple.
"No problem. You're basically a sister to me, so you're fine. Plus, it seems that Machi likes you, which is rare," he said, which caused me to have a shocked expression.
The door opened and Chrollo and Paku entered the base.
"Fooood!!" I ran towards them and snagged one of the bags, then ran back to the kitchen. "Should I wake up everyone with pans??" I asked. I was more hyper than ever, which made them chuckle at my behavior.
"Sure, but they might kill you," Paku said.
"Challenge excepted!" I said, then crouched down looking for pans. "Haha! Found them!" I said as I took out two large pans. I ran up to Soka's room with a smirk on my face.
When I entered, I was pinned to the floor. What the shat?
"Oh, hey Soka," I said, smiling sheepishly.
"What were you doing with those pans~?" He asked, moving his knee which was placed in between my legs, up.
"I was going to wake up everyone cause food was here," I looked away.
"Chrollo sent out a message to everyone and told us about that~. Well, prank gone wrong~. Now you have to pay up~" he said.
"Woah woah woah there buddy. What the hell do you mean?" I said, looking back at him.
"You'll have to fight me at full potential and power~ no holding back~" he whispered into my ear.
"Sokaa!! Get off! I'm hungry, let me eat!" I roared.
"But don't you think I'm a good meal~?" He cooed.
"Oh please, you already know I see you as a brother, so stop the act." I said in a serious tone.
"Hmm~ not some random clown of the family~?"
"Well... now that I think of it. You are the adopted brother who is a psychotic magician clown mix that gets turned on by power," I said, smiling an evil grin.
"Ouch" a voice said.
"Machi not a good timing~" Soka said, looking deep into my soul.
"No, I think it was the perfect timing," I said, trying to look past him.
"You can get off of her now," another voice said.
"Fei-chan?" I asked.
"Yes, it's me. Now, Hisoka. Get off of her before I murder you... well torture you first," he said in a cold, dark voice.
Soka sighed. "Fine" and he got up.
"Oh thank you, my savors," I said as I got up and hugged them both.

"Anytime, Ren," Fei-Chan said, hugging me back. 

"What he said," Machi said, petting my head. 

"Okay, food should be out now and I'm hungry," I said, letting go of them both. We headed down stairs, leaving Soka alone in his room. 

Once we arrived downstairs, I grabbed the bag that was untouched and took out fries and a box of chicken nuggets. I felt everyone's eyes on me as I did, but ignored it. I want over to a pile of rubble and sat down. I start to feast on my fries, which only had a bit left in them, but I didn't really mind since I never really ate. I opened my chicken nuggets and screamed, throwing the box away from me. Everyone started to laugh or chuckle. 

"Are you trying to scare me to death?! By planting a fake fucking spider in my food?!" I screamed, causing them to erupt in a much louder laugh. I started to shake my head, but started to chuckle myself. "Okay... that was perfectly executed. But who's idea was it?" I asked looking around at them. 

"Me," Uvo said, still laughing. 

"Okay, let's fight," I said giving him a closed-eyed smile. Everyone quieted down. 

"Without nen, right?" he asked as he sweat-dropped.

"Yes and no weapons, just a hand-to-hand fight," I said, standing up. 

"Alright," he said in a slightly relieved voice. I smirked as I thought, he doesn't even know what I can do. 

"Lets do it outside, so that we don't destroy the place," I said, stretching my arms out above my head. He nodded and we both headed out, the others followed. 

When we were all outside, we stood away from each other by about 20 feet. 

"Ready...Set...FIGHT!" yelled Shalnark, who was eager to see the fight. 

Uvo stood there, so I charged at him with immense speed. I was right in front of him, but quickly moved so that I was behind him. I kicked the back of his knee, then appeared in front of him and punched him in the gut. He went to hit me, but I easily dodged and planted my foot in the bottom of his jaw, sending him flying. 

Everyone's eyes were wide. "Th-that was your raw power..?" Shizuku asked. I looked over at them and nodded. 

"Well, only a fraction of it," said Lumi. I nodded again, causing them to look at me with shocked expressions, well except for Soka. He was looking at me with a smirk, but once we made eye contact he licked his lips. I wore a disgusted face, but was quickly brought back to my senses once I felt an incoming attack from behind me.

 I swiftly turned around and caught a punch that was aimed straight for my head. His expression changed as my small hand caught his big one. A smirk started to grow on my face. 

"She's just playing with him," I heard Lumi mumble. 

"How did you know?" I asked him as I flipped Uvo over my shoulder, slamming him into the ground. 

"Because, we've fought before and you never revealed your true strength, you only do that whenever you get bored of them or they are more powerful than you, which would be pretty rare," he said and I nodded. 

"You're correct once again," I said smiling a small smile. 

"Just how much did the Zoldicks train you?" Chrollo asked as he stepped forwards. 

"Well, they did punish me with electricity and other techniques, but after that they ran out of things to punish me with since I was growing stronger. Also, they trained me everyday, not giving up on me because they want me to be much more powerful than Silva, which they think I already am," I said, not taking my eyes off of Uvo. "I think this fight is over," I added, walking away.
