Chapter 10 - Brother..?

Ren's POV

I woke up in a building that looked abandoned. I groaned. "Great... I black out due to not sleeping then I wake up at a completely different place," I sighed. I looked around and noticed a group of people staring at me. "Fuck" was the only thing I could get out.
Someone came over to me and they had a shirt on the was pretty revealing. "It's alright, we aren't going to hurt you," she said, expanding her hand to me. I took it and felt like there was something in my head.
"Are you..?" I asked pointing to my head. She nodded. Then her eyes became teary. "A-are you alright, ma'am?" I asked, she fell to her knees, tears started to stroll down her face. She then hugged me. I hugged back.

"Welcome home... Ren," she said. I felt my eyes begin to water.

"W-wait is that.. brother..?" I asked, loosening my grip around her. She nodded. "Where is he?" I asked, wiping my eyes before I started to truly cry. She pointed up at an area the was higher than the other places. I stood up.

"Brother," I said, smiling up at where he was. It was like he was dreaming and he had to pinch himself.

"S-sister?!" He asked in non-belief.

"Brother!!" I ran up to him with speed some have never seen. Tears streaming down my face. My arms wrapped around his torso and his wrapped around me. I started to giggle. "Well, you've grown," I said, smiling.

He started to chuckle. "You have too," he said, petting my hair.

Then it hit me. "Chrollo... I was supposed to assassinate you, but I think that my Mother and Father found out that I remembered somehow," I said, looking up at him.

He smiled at me and petted my hair. "It's alright, who raised you?" He asked.

"The Zoldycks, why?" I said. By the mention of their name, it felt like there was no air left in the room.

"The who?" Asked someone from the crowd. Chrollo and I both let go of each other to see them.

"They're the ones that took you away from me, and before my nen could even develop on you skin," he clenched his fist, but let it go at the end.

"What do you mean?" I asked, unraveling the bandages that were around my exposed stomach. "It started to grow when I started to have the dreams and remember it fully," I said, pointing to the spider on my stomach.
   Everyone's eyes were on us. Chrollo suddenly brought me into another hug. I hugged back. "Let's go meet your family," he said and I nodded. We let go of each other and hopped down from his area. Chrollo introduced me to everyone and told me about their abilities and personality.

"Is everyone here?" I asked.

"No, not everyone, Hisoka isn't here yet," Machi said through gritted teeth.

"Oh, wait... isn't he almost always late..?" I asked. They all nodded. I couldn't help but go 'pfft' and that made everyone chuckle or laugh. I just giggled, trying not to fully laugh. The base door opened. I was about to attach my strings to whoever this person was, but I was stopped when I knew who it was. A smile appeared on my face.

"Hey, Soka," I called to him when he was still in the shadows.

"How'd you know?" Chrollo asked.

"We hung out during the hunter exam," I said, looking at him. "Don't worry, I only see him as a brother," I reassured him and he let out a sigh of relief and so did some others. Which made me chuckle.
     Hisoka came out of the shadows and I stretched my arms above my head, revealing the spider more and flashing a bit of my nude colored bra. Everyone was staring at me, some blushing. I was confused.

"What is it?" I asked as I started looking all over my body. They started to laugh at me. Which caused my face to light a tint of pink from embarrassment. "Oh," I said, itching the back of my neck and laughing awkwardly. They all started to laugh harder and then someone snorted and then everyone started to laugh. What would happen if we were all drunk..?

   I took a couple of deep breathes and looked at Chrollo who was chuckling. "So, what do you wanna do?" I asked.

"You are a specialist, correct?" I nodded. "Okay, can you show us your ability?" I nodded again.

"Mine is pretty similar to Machi's but I can do more than just heal and hold people captive... errr.. what should we use..." I trailed off in thought.

"I can be the test subject," Hisoka raised Ko his hand.

I shrugged, "alrighty then... now that we have our guinea pig, all I need you guys to do is watch," I said, making some more chuckle.

"I like her," Uvo said as he chuckled. I bowed my head towards him saying 'thank you'.

"You don't have to always be polite, y'know," Feitan said. Wait... THERES SOMEONE SHORTER THAN ME?! My true height is 4'11 but I'm pretty sure I'm actually 5'.

"Okay, okay, let's do this!" I said, pumping my left first in the air and revealing a bit of my toned abs.

Uvo, Nobunaga, Phinks, and Feitan started chuckling.

"You're so short, what are you 4'11?" He asked, still chuckling.

"I'm five foot, and shut up," I said crossing my arms and looking up at him.

"So cute," someone mumbled.

"How old are you?" Phinks asked.

"27," I said, my hands now dangling by my side. My right hand went up to my neck where my headphones were supposed to be. "Shit," I started looking around. "Where the fuck are they?" Shit, I forgot to bring my headphones, fuck.

"What is it?" Chrollo asked.

"My headphones, I must've left them back at the house," I said, my finger on my chin. "Welp, I could get them soon, but I should be good for now," I shrugged it off.

"Too cute," someone mumbled, causing my face to go red.

"H-huh..?" I asked and everyone started to laugh except for Feitan. It looked like his eyes were almost glistening. Oh my god... he's so cutee like what??

"I-I said you were too cute," Feitan said, making everyone stop laughing. My face turned more red. Everyone stared at us. I wasn't used to the attention.

"Th-thank you," I stuttered.

"So are we gonna use your nen ability or what?" Soka said, making me turn my attention to him. I nodded and smiled a small smile like Lumi's.

"Let's do this," I giggled as the troupe made their way onto the rubble so that they weren't in the way and to get a better angle. "You ready?"  I asked them. They all nodded. I looked at Soka and he nodded.

The smile started to grow on my lips. "Okay... let's start," I said, taking a step towards Soka.
