Chapter 6 - Discovery

??? POV

"Boss, she remembers... she remembered it from a dream," I said, feeling a bead of sweat roll down my forehead.

"We'll need to do plan b since she remembers, return back immediately," said Silva and then he hung up.
I guess they're going to assign her an assassination to complete the boy from her past, I figured. I looked up at her again before heading back to the Zoldyck's mansion.

Ren's POV

I had my face buried in Gittarackur's chest. I felt someone's eyes on us but I didn't care. I needed to get my head clear.
Suddenly, I felt bloodlust, but it was coming from the string. I wore a worried face. "What's wrong?" Gittarackur asked.

"I attached a string to Hisoka and I'm feeling his bloodlust from it. I have to get to him before he causes any trouble," I said, sitting up. "You can follow if you want, but don't get involved or he'll know something is up," I commanded and Gittarackur nodded.

I lifted myself up and jumped from tree branch to tree branch, heading towards Hisoka. I jumped down and landed on the ground and started to sprint towards him. 

When I got to where he was, I hid behind a bush and looked down at where Hisoka was. He was charging at a man that had no chance of surviving him. The man died instantly, but the thing that caught my eye was that there was a fishing line that grabbed onto Hisoka's badge. By the look on Hisoka's face, he was also quite shocked.

My eyes followed to where the line came from and my eyes went wide. Gon?! I wanted to charge at him and hug him for what he just did, but Hisoka also followed the fishing line. He then started to scan the bushes and trees. I ducked before he could see me. I felt the string get shorter. Oh god... did he see me? A bead of sweat rolled down my forehead.
     Wait, if he spotted Gon, he might want to kill him... I can't let that happen. I jumped out from behind the bush and landed in Hisoka's eyesight. "Go, Gon! Run!" I told him, not taking my eyes off of Hisoka.

     Hisoka looked a bit startled, but he started to charge at me. I got in a ready stance. But he stopped just a few inches in front of me. I looked at him puzzled and he started to chuckle. Then suddenly stopped.

"How did you know I was here?" He said in a very serious tone.

"I attached a string to you for precaution, you weren't able to see it cause I only have it invincible to the person that it's attached to, but they also can't be more powerful than me in nen for them not to be able to see it," I said, looking down and knowing he had a tick mark on his forehead.

He scoffed. "Like you are more powerful than me~" he teased.

"Well.... I am a specialist," I said, looking up at him, smirking. He looked a bit shocked. I suddenly felt like Gon was in trouble. I turned to run, but Hisoka grabbed my arm. "I have a feeling Gon is in trouble and if he gets hurt, Kil is definitely not going to be able to smile or be happy anymore," I said and he let go. I ran to him and saw there was a man there, crouched down over Gon.

     I wrapped a string around his neck and made him get decapitated. I ran over to Gon and took out the dart the was in him. This should have him paralyzed for about ten days. He started to get up which startled me, but I knew this kid had a lot of potential.
"Gon, are you alright?" I asked. He nodded.
"Yeah, thank you, Ren," he said as he was getting up. He turned around and saw Hisoka there.
      Gon pulled out Hisoka's badge. "Take it back," Gon commanded, causing me to have a puzzled look. Hisoka then punched Gon making him go flying. I was filled with rage. I kicked my leg up with 25% Ko and kicked him in the chin. I than ran to Gon, who was laying unconscious. I felt multiple nen items coming at me.
     I quickly went from being on my knees next to Gon, to a back walkover, so I was standing. I dodged all of the attacks very easily. Hisoka started to make his way over to me, but before he could reach me, I picked up Gon and ran off into the forest. I covered him with my nen and activated Zetsu, once more.

~~2 days later~~

       We found Leorio and Kurapika, but got stuck in a cave. Snakes were going to attack anyone who tried to escape and I knew I could use my strings to kill them, but I didn't want them to figure out that there is something up. Gon figured out a way out and it involved a gas that'll make anyone go unconscious. Thank god they made me train.. well basically torture me, but it made me into the fine assassin I am today.
        Gona and I both held our breath as the other's fell unconscious. I picked up Leorio and he was surprisingly light. I was giving him a piggyback ride.

     When they both woke up and saw me looking out at the ocean. A light breeze came and made my hair blow in the wind, making me feel like a model, but I was still deep in thought.
     I looked over at them and Leorio was drooling, while Kurapika had a light tint of pink on his cheeks. I gave them a warming smile with tightly closed eyes. But when I opened my eyes, Hisoka was sitting where they just were. I looked around for them, but couldn't see them, I looked over at the boat and they were there. Shit did I get lost in thought again?
     I got up and went to the boat. When I got in I saw Gon, Kurapika, Leorio, and Kil sitting together. I decided to sit next to Kil. They were just talking and then Leorio randomly pulled me into the conversation.
"So, Ren, how old are you?" He asked with a creepy smirk on his face. Okay, yeah he's more creepy than Hisoka.
"I'm too old for you, nineteen year old," I said just to tick him off.
"What do you mean, Ren?" Gon asked.
"I'm 27, he's 19, too much of an age gap, plus he wouldn't really go good with my lifestyle," I said, looking up at the sky.
"I'm gonna take a nap," I said to Kil and he nodded, knowing what I'd ask. I rested my head on his shoulder and began to sleep.
