Sawyer sat at his desk deep in thought. He had wanted to kiss Willow. They had locked eyes and he had wanted to kiss her. What is wrong with me? Thought Sawyer. He looked up from his desk when he heard Eleanor and Willow.
"You did what!?" Eleanor shouted her question.
He just rolled his eyes. He knew Eleanor would be angry. She always is if someone tries to fix themselves instead of going to her.
"I just got what was causing the problem out," Sawyer said," I didn't bother patching myself up."
She was furious and Sawyer could tell. Not just by the look on her face, but by the way she walked over to him and spoke.
"You could have told me you thought there was something stuck in the wound," Eleanor said," then that way we could have had you healed and better sooner."
"Tending to Willow was more important than my little wound," Sawyer said.
"Your 'little' wound hasn't stopped bleeding since you rescued her," Eleanor pointed out.
Sawyer didn't bother to say anything. Especially now that Eleanor was stitching him closed. When she was finished he told her to take the bloody blade shard with her. As she left he looked over at Willow she was sitting on the couch opposite of his desk. She looked concerned.
"What's with the look, kitten?" Sawyer asked.
"You allowed yourself to stay hurt because of me?" Willow asked.
"You had an infection, a fever, and so close to death," Sawyer said," my wound was of no importance."
"But you're the captain of this boat your crew needs you," Willow said pointing to the door.
"So," Sawyer said.
"So? Are you joking, they are your family and family comes first," Willow snapped at him.
"Your right family does come first," Sawyer agreed," and I was taking care of the said family."
"No, you weren't, if you were you would also have been taking care of yourself too," Willow said.
"My priorities were not on me," Sawyer said he was starting to get annoyed with this.
"Then what were they on," Willow asked," why were you not taking care of yourself?"
"Because I was worried about you, God damn it!" Sawyer shouted.
Willow sat there frozen as he continued.
"You are apart of this family whether you like it or not," Sawyer said," and I couldn't stand knowing that my brother took you, I didn't know if you were alive or not I was scared I would never get you back."
Quickly he stopped talking. Willow sat there opposite of him. Her mouth hung open. Not wanting to look at her he adverted his eyes to the paperwork that laid on his desk. He pretends to work.
"You were worried about my safety?" Willow spoke, it sounded more like a question to him. He didn't bother looking up from his work.
"Well, it looks like you're busy," Willow said," I think I'm going to go talk to Treasure for a while."
He just nodded his head picking up a pen. He heard her footsteps, but they were not heading towards the door. They were heading towards him. He looks up and sees her standing beside him. He watched as she lent over and placed a kiss on his cheek. She turned and then left the room. Sawyer sat there stunned. She had kissed his cheek. He didn't know what to do. He wasn't expecting her to do that.
