After Willow was caged to a wall by Sawyer, all because she had taken his apple, she began to notice something. His eyes for one. They seemed to have a blue glow to them. And as everyone was cleaning the deck and he sat in his chair she noticed the slightest twitch of his ears and nose. It bothered her so much that she had to ask someone.

"Hey, Treasure, what's up with pup?" Willow asked pointing her thumb at him.

Treasure looked over at him then back at Willow.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Treasure said confused.

"You don't see the blue in his eyes," Willow asked," or noticed the excessive twitching of his ears and nose?"

"He's probably caught some kind of scent and is trying to figure out if it's a threat or not," Treasure said," and his eyes are green, not blue."

"I know that, but there's like a blue haze over his eyes," Willow said.

"I don't know what you're seeing but all I see is his green eyes," Treasure said then added," if you want to go talk to Violet, she might know what you're talking about."

Taking Treasures advice Willow went to speak with Violet. She was farthest away from the captain. And she was checking some of the ropes, making sure they were still good to use.

"Hey Violet, can I asked you something?" Willow asked stopping in front of her purple-haired friend.

"Go ahead," Violet said," I'm sure I can answer whatever you ask."

"Well it has to do with the captain," Willow said.

"What about him?" Violet asked.

"Well for starters his excessive twitching ears and nose," Willow said," then the blue haze that is over his eyes."

"The ears and nose twitching can be a cause of numerous things," Violet said.

But Willow noticed that it took her friend a moment to answer the eye change. Violet looked a little uneasy.

"Is everything okay?" Willow asked.

She didn't get an answer. Violet wasn't even paying attention to her now. She was more focused on Sawyer now. Then she watched as Violet stood and climbed a mast heading towards Polly. When she finally came back down to the boat a look of relief was seen.

"Is everything okay?" Willow repeated her question.

"Yes, it's just going to be a Blue Moon soon," Violet answered," and we are close to land so everything is fine."

"Blue Moon?" Willow repeated unsure of what her friend was saying.

"Yeah it happens every two or three years," Violet said," and when it happens the captain starts to act differently."

"Differently how?" Willow asked.

"Just depends," Violet answered," he can either become very cruel or very kind."

"So why are you relieved that we are close to land?" Willow asked.

"He might have picked up the scent of someone from shore that he will go after until the Blue Moon is over," Violet said," it's never a nice thing to be stuck on the boat with him during one of these."

Willow watched as Violet cleaned up the ropes. She was still very confused about the whole Blue Moon but she figured she'd asked Sawyer later about it. When she turned her attention to the chair that he would be sitting at, she saw it was empty. Now curious she went looking for him. It was obvious that he was nowhere on the deck so she made her way down the stairs and began her search. He wasn't in the kitchen, the room that held empty cages, or the supply room that was starting to get low. Making a mental note to bring it up with him that they should stock up on their supplies again she went to the last place she thought he would be at.
