A week went by after Thomas and Willow had their little talk. It still upset Sawyer every time he thought about it. It didn't help that he would also think of what his parent will do. It's not like he cared before when he screwed with other mortal girls before, but with Willow it was different. He wanted to keep her safe. He loved her and she loved him. His feelings towards her were not of lust. And that was what was different from all the others. She wanted to get to know the real him, gave him space when needed, told him off where it was needed, and respected him. All the women that he has fucked just wanted him because of his looks or the money he kept locked on his boat. Some even wanted him just because he had power.

"Captain your parents are here," Violet's voice informed from behind his door.

He had been doing some paperwork and Willow was napping on the bed. She had lately been napping a lot when she had the chance. But every time he asked if she was feeling alright she said she felt fine. Standing up he walked over to the door. Leaving the room he instructed Violet to stay with Willow. When he reached the deck he saw his crew looking at his parents and brother with suspicion and caution. As he came to a stop in front of his crew he saw a strange woman standing with his family.

"What brings you here?" Sawyer asked.

"We heard that you've marked a mortal," his mother said in disgust.

"And what if I have?" Sawyer asked," it's not like I haven't slept with other mortals."

"Well, we knew all the others meant nothing to you," his mother was saying," but this one seems to be different."

"That's why we brought Maddison to see you," his father said.

At the mention of her name, the girl that was standing behind his parents stepped forward. She had long blonde hair, blonde cat ears, green eyes, and tanned skin.

"Hello, you must be Sawyer," Maddison said.

"You can leave," Sawyer said.

"Oh come on brother, we've come such a long way," Thomas said then asked," can't we stay at least a night?"

"No, now get off my boat," he snapped.

He really didn't want them here.

"Not until you agree that you'll forget about that mortal and marry Maddison," his mother said.

"And why would he want to marry that blonde bitch?" A voice Sawyer all too well recognized.

He turned around and saw Willow walking up to him. She looked levied. Turning his attention back to his family he saw their noses twitch. They could smell that Willow's scent was different.

"I do believe that you spent enough time here," Sawyer said," now don't make me ask again."

"We will not leave until you get rid of that thing beside you," his mother spat.

Sawyer growled at her words and in one quick motion summoned some ocean water and threw it at them. When the water cleared away his family and Maddison were gone.

"Maybe you should just start doing that instead of trying to ask them to leave," Willow suggested.

"I would but then they would expect it and fight back," Sawyer said.

He turned back to his crew and saw them all standing there with their mouths open. He started walking back to his room. He wasn't in the mood to deal with the day.

"If they come back let me know," he said to his crew.

As he walked down the stairs he heard Willow running to catch up. Stopping at the bottom step he turned and waited for her. Once she caught up Sawyer asked," how are you feeling?"
