Beel X Reader | A Dangerous Midnight Stroll

Ahh I'm so sorry it took so long ;-; this is quite a short chapter as I wasn't sure what to write.

It would've been a silent night if not for the avatar of gluttony's nightly kitchen raid.

Beel shoved another custard into his mouth, munching on it as he searches through the refrigerator for more food when he heard noises that usually don't happen.

Footsteps?

Stuffing his mouth with a final creampuff, he exited the kitchen just in time to see you walk into the underground tomb.

"(Y/n)?"

You didn't answer, continuously moving deeper into the tomb with a slight sway in your steps. Beel moved closer to see your eyes shut closed, a peaceful expression on your face completely unaware of the danger you're risking yourself.

A growl rumbled, and Beel knows it's not his stomach.

He scooped you up gently into his arms, a smile and blush evident on his face upon the close contact he unexpectedly found himself in.

Your eyebrows furrow in confusion at the sudden touch but quickly relaxed and nuzzled close to sixth-born, making his face become a brighter shade of red.

He carried you to your room, making sure that you're comfy within his arms at all times. If you suddenly flinch from too harsh of a step, he would stop and wait until you're completely relaxed again before continuing on his way to your room. Once he made sure you're tucked into bed, he left your room after brushing your hair back and pecking your forehead.

Morning rolled around, where you awoke to a knock on your bedroom door.

"Co-coming in a moment!" you shout, hurriedly scrambling out of bed and swinging open the door to reveal the ginger head.

A smile broke out on his face. "I'm so glad you're safe, (Y/n)," the sixth-born murmured, hugging you in the doorway.

"Huh?"

Beel gestured for the two of you to step inside your room (as it would be awkward to just stand in the doorway the entire time) and told you of last night's events.

"Wha?" you blink in surprise. "That happens really rarely... I can't believe I almost entered the underground tomb with Cerberus in there." A smile graced your lips as you looked at Beel. "So, thank you, Beel... I really am glad that you were there."

Pink tinges appeared on the avatar of gluttony's cheeks. "It's only the right thing to do, since you're always so nice, and you're adorable... and lovely..." His voice faded away when he realized that he pretty much made a love confession.

You stared at him in surprise, then burst out laughing that laugh he loves so much. Beel was taken aback by your reaction, but it seems your laughter was contagious as he began to laugh as well.

"I love you too, Beel."
