    I ran and hugged my mom. "Im sorry sweetie, but I'm not your mom" She said and I pulled away. "You're her doppleganger aren't you?" I asked and she nodded. "Sorry kid, I know this can't be much better than what happened in there." Jay said. "What happened?" Kara asked. "I went back to the monitor, saw you and our daughter living without me. Then I ran, by accident I ran back 16 years, to the night my mom died." I said and Kara hugged me. I sat down with all of them. They gave me and Kara a cup of coffee. I talked with Jay

"I've heard about what you face"
"So you know how to stop it?"
"No, That's for you, I'm too old to help out, but I know people who can"
"Who"
"Earth-1 there is a bunch of heroes on that earth"
"Can you teach me how to get there?"
"Yes, but Jason, live your life to the fullest, I don't know how much time you have"
"Yeah"

    They let us stay for a few days while Jay trained me. I was in my room with Kara, I hadn't been sleeping much lately.

"Jason, what did you see when the monitor showed you me living without you"
"I saw her grow up, you named her Nora. I watched you two live without me, I could feel your sadness. I could feel Nora's anger that I wasn't there. It was terrible, worse pain than anything."
"I, uh"
"I'm so sorry, I wish there was another way"
"I know, I know. I love you Jason"

    A week later I was back at the apartment with Kara, I had been taking care of her, getting her food, etc. Right now I was in my old room, I had cleared everything out. "I know I got a few things, what do I do with my stuff?" I asked Kara. "Well, you can put your collectibles by the window, buy casing cause the baby will think they are toys, Your clothes are with mine, so You can put the tech back at the DEO." Kara said, I used my speed to do so. I also changed into shorts and t-shirt, I was using one of Kara's headbands to keep my hair out of my face, She laughed at that. "What" I asked, putting my arms on her waist. "Just your hair" She said, smiling. "I'll wear it like this always if it'll keep a smile on your face" I said, Kara shook her head. "It's better how you usually do it," Kara said. "Good to know, so what color do you want in the nursery? Yellow, Blue, Pink? I asked. "Um, do yellow," Kara said, thinking, Her eyebrows did that really cute crinkle. "Something funny?" She asked. "Crinkle" I said, she gasped. "I need to get that fixed," She said. "Not if you husband has anything to say about it, it's one of your cutest features" I said jokingly. "The fact that you can say that and retain your masculinuty is impressive" She said. I made my voice deeper. "It's easier when I sound like this right?" I asked, Kara chuckled "Get painting lover boy" Kara said. "Yes ma'am" I replied and sped off to grab paint.

    I was in the nursery, painting it, Kara walked in. "No superspeed?" She asked. "Nope, wanna enjoy this'' I replied. "Do you enjoy this'' Kara asked and splattered paint on me with a brush. "Oh, I'm sorry, was that the wrong color?" She asked. "You better be glad I put tarp down" I said and splattered paint at her. She threw more at me, The paint got in my eye and I had to wink. Me and Kara got into a paint war, we splattered it at each other's clothes, Kara was squealing at the cold feeling and I was laughing, I grabbed Kara's waist from behind. "We got like, 50% of the job done" I said, Kara had the bucket in her hand, She lifted it over our hands. "No" I said with a smile "Splash" She said and tipped it, the paint fell on both of us, covering us from head to toe in yellow.

    I picked Kara up and spun her around. Kara laughed, this is one of the things I loved about us, we were really just two kids, having fun. "What was that for?" I asked. "Maybe I just wanted an excuse to shower together" She said, I did my usual crooked grin. "You never need an excuse" I said and me and Kara showered together.

"We made a mess"
"Yes"
"Speed cleaning will come to the rescue"

    Kara kissed me, I leaned into it, I spinned Kara around. "Goofball" I teased. "Less talking, more kissing" She said and I obliged. Me and Kara finished our shower together. An hour later I had cleaned up the paint mess and finished painting the nursery. I sat back on the couch, handing Kara a water. She was watching 'Anne With An E'.

"Watching a lot of tv lately huh?"
"Well with you doing everything else it my responsibility to 'Keep up with the Kardashians' and all that"
"Please tell me you didn't actually make that pun"
"I did"
"Where can I get a new wife?"
"Hey"
"No i'm just joking, I love you too much"
"I know you do"
