The Final Battle

Flashback

Kara Pov

    I was at Savitar's layer. A speedster came up behind me, he signaled for me to be quiet. He cut me free with one of Savitar's spikes. He took me away, but he accidently let go of the spike and it flew back to Savitar's armor. Jay used a device that made me look and sound like him, and he looked and sounded like me. Savitar came and was gonna kill me. "He's innocent, take me" Jay said. "No, don't," I said. "Get out of here," Jay said and Ieft. I got Alex and the DEO agents and they were set up to take out Savitar, they all had silencers. "Aim for the gaps in the armor, wait for my mark" Alex ordered.

Flashback Ends

Jason Pov

    Kara's image glitched and I saw Jay in my arms. "Gideon, how fast did I go?" I asked. "Mach 6.9, too slow" She replied. "Hey kid," Jaye said. "No, what did you do" I asked, panicking. "My race is over, tell Nora I love her. And Jason?" Jay asked. "Yeah?" I said. "This took strength and you gave it to me," Jay said and then he died. I heard Kara. "Jason" She asked, I stood up and hugged her, Jay's blood transferring from my suit to her clothes. "He saved me," Kara said. "He's a hero," I said. "Ride back with Alex" I said and I picked up Jay and ran him to the DEO, people were silent as they saw him. Jay's wife, Nora was there, she started crying. I set Jay down on the gurney they brought. I pulled off my mask and faced Nora. "I'm sorry," I said.

    I dealt with Jay, then I heard the monitor. "Go to the forest, bring a strike team and Kara" The monitor said. "The time paradox will kill him, but he's doing something to split himself and be present all of the time" The monitor explained. I called Alex. "Meet me at the clearing in the forest, this fight isn't over. Kara's welcome as well" I said and ran off. I ran to the forest and did what I should have done before and supersonic punched Savitar. He ran and I chased him. Later Savitar was standing still waiting for me. I ran at him and phased so that I pushed him out of the suit and took over. 

    He looked at me wide eyed, I heard the DEO behind me. "Stand down," I said. "It's written" Savitar taunted. "Nothing's written" I argued. "You kill me, you become me, either way, I win," Savitar said. "No, I won, I'm still standing," I said. "You can't keep the darkness out," He said. "I'll never let the darkness in!" I yelled and vibrated myself, destroying the suit. I turned towards everyone. Kara was walking towards me. "It's over" I said, I saw Kara's eyes light up like they did when she used her heat vision. I ducked and the heat vision hit Savitar, killing him. "Turn around, bright eyes" I quipped, making a reference to 'Total Ecplipse of tue Hesrt'. I saw Savitar get erased from existence. I went back to the DEO.

    The agents clapped as I walked in. "Be careful Jason, this change in the timeline has accelerated the timeline of the crisis" The monitor said, I took the advice. Later I was sitting with Kara while everyone was over for a celebratory party. I heard a bang and looked out the window. There was multicolored lightning. "The speed force, it doesn't have a prisoner" I said. I got Alex, Winn, John, James, Lena and Kara to come downstairs with me.

    I walked away from the building, everyone behind me. "It's the speed force, it needs a prisoner, but it doesn't have one. It's unstable" I announced. A portal opened and my mom came out. "Mom?" I asked, she shook her head. "The speed force" I said and she nodded. "Come home Jason" She said, I turned to John first. I offered him my hand to shake, but he hugged me. "It's been an honor" John said I nodded and then I hugged him, I shook James' hand. "National City is in your hands, Guardian" I told James. "I'll do my best." He replied, I hugged Lena next. "Thanks for being a friend, those are hard to come by for a Luthor" Lena said. "It was a pleasure" I replied, I hugged Winn next "See you on the other side" I said. "May the speed force be with you" He said. I hugged Alex next. "Thank you for making Kara happy," She said, tearing up. "You too, Aunt Alex" I said and pulled away, she smiled. 

    I heard my mom. "It's time to go Jason'' She said, I turned to her. "One moment" I said and turned towards Kara, I leaned my head against hers, my hands on her cheeks. "We just got each other back," She said, crying. "I know, I'll always be with you, here and here" I said, pointing to her heart and her mind. "I love you Jason Morgan'' Kara said, crying still. "I love you Kara Danvers-Morgan'' I said and kissed Kara, I held it for a few seconds and then I pulled away, I handed Kara my Flash and wedding rings "Keep them safe" I said. I grabbed my mom's hand and left into the speed force.
