"Walk like a king. Or like you don't give a fuck who's the king,"
I arrived in the grand fireplace of one of the manor Living rooms. I looked around and the house appeared desolate. Apart from the cleaners and the gardeners, it was just my mum until I found some house-elves and some other guests to stay at the manor.
"MUM!" I yelled. "IT'S ME! ARE YOU HOME?" I yelled again.
"Bella?" I heard as I saw my mum walking into the room with a cup of Tea. "What are you doing here? I thought I wasn't going to see you before you went off to school?" She questioned.
"Well I'm just dropping a few things off and I have something important I need to tell you," I said seriously.
"Important? What is it?" She asked suspiciously.
"Right, okay. What I'm about to tell you needs to be a secret okay? You can't tell anyone only Harry, Ron, Hermione and I know for now."
"Okay, I won't tell anyone," She said reassuringly, an edge of caution to her tone. I lead her over to the sofa and we sat down.
"Well, I went to Gringott's right? And I got an inheritance test to see if I could learn any more about Dad's side of the family which I did,"
"Oh that's great Hunny--,"
"But," I said cutting her off. "I also found a few other things out," I said before unlocking my bag. I put my whole arm in dug around for a bit. My mum wasn't even surprised anymore since I had shown her the extended bag before, or what she liked to call my "Mary Poppins" Bag. A comment that often made me roll my eyes.
"Here it is," I said after finding the inheritance test. I pulled it out of the bag and handed it over to my mum.
I watched as she read over the document. I watched as her face went from Happy to confused to shocked and then back to confusion again.
I started to go over all the things on the test.
She obviously already knew about my grandparents and my blood status.
"I'm assuming you know who Sirius Black is?" I said looking at her, she had a sad look on her face.
"Yes I remembered when they told me Sirius had been arrested. It always confused me, Sirius was lovely, sure he was a pain in the neck sometimes, and cheeky most of the time but so was your father. I thought it was impossible for him to even consider betraying his friends. At first, Remus and I didn't believe it but as time went on he gave up hope and I couldn't really ask many questions since I was just a muggle so it wasn't really anything to do with me. Your dad refused to talk about it, still distraught over the loss of four of his friends. So he put all of his efforts into his work until one day he didn't come back." She said starting off happy but ending in a saddened voice.
