"I am insane to explain and you are too normal to understand,"
Hagrid grinned at mine and Harry's astonished faces. He ushered us through excitedly and The three of us stepped through the giant, stone archway. I glanced over my shoulder and watched as the archway became a solid brick wall again. Turning back around, my jaw dropped slightly as I looked at all the shops around me. The sight was less glamorous than muggle London but in my opinion, it was far more interesting and impressive. My attention went to the nearest shop that was directly in front of us. It was a dark green wooden building that had a funny shaped roof. On top of the building, there were three chimneys, all with thick smoke pouring out the top of them.
My eyes went to the golden letters that were plastered above the shop door.
"Cauldrons- All sizes - Copper, Brass, Pewter, Silver - Self-Stirring- Collapsible..."
"Yeah, you'll be needing one of them, but we have to get your money first," Hagrid said seeing where I was looking. I nodded and Hagrid started walking. Harry and I started to follow Hagrid, walking past all the shops.
"Eyelop's Owl Emporium, Quality Quidditch Supplies, Flourish and Blotts, Madam Malkin's Robes for all Occasions," I whispered out loud to myself, reading the signs outside of the shops. Meanwhile, Harry was too occupied with reading the equipment list. The sight made me smile in relief, I hadn't brought mine. I hadn't even looked at the equipment we needed, maybe Harry would let me have a look at his.
"But Hagrid how am I meant to pay for all of this, I haven't got any money!" Harry said furrowing his eyebrows.
"Well there's your money," Hagrid answered pointing to a large building that was at the end of the Alley.
"Is that Gringott's Hagrid? My mother told me about that, it's the wizard bank isn't it?" I asked and Hagrid nodded a smile on his face. We finally reached the snowy-white building which towered over all the other little shops. My eyes widened at the sight of something or rather someone standing beside the burnished, bronze doors.
What the hell is that.
"Hagrid what's that?" Harry questioned before I got the chance.
"That's a Goblin Harry, clever as they come Goblins, but not the most friendly of beasts, so best stay close, you too Isabella" Hagrid responded as Harry and I shuffled closer to him.
The "Goblins", as Hagrid called them, were very short and had fair skin. Their fingers were very thin and long and at the end of each finger, there was a long, pointed nail. Their feet were of the same pointed shape. With their dome-shaped heads, pointed nose, and pointed ears they looked rather... elvish? The peculiar creature was hard to describe.
